It's rare that I have to go on business trips but recently had to spend over a week in Portland, Oregon. I had been there once before on business, and I have to say it is one of my favorite cities. It's clean, has great transportation, great restaurants, great natural beauty, and lots of HOT men!!

Even though the gym was in central Beaverton, it kind of seemed like it was the middle of nowhere. There weren't a lot of businesses or offices around. When I got inside, it was actually pretty similar in layout to my "regular" gym back home. It must have been built about 8-10 yrs ago. I get into the locker room about 6:30 and it was pretty dead and empty. At my regular gym at that time, there is usually quite a few guys that finish up early and are showering, dressing, or shaving at the sinks. Not here. There was one naked man, a middle aged guy, walking back to his locker. Not bad lookind, but not hot either. There was also a younger guy, mid-20's, good looking, pale, with a hairy chest, who was all wet and must have just finished swimming. He had a nice thick patch of hair on his lower back right above his swim suit. Hot.
I stashed my gear and went out to the gym floor. The cardio was on the first floor like my "regular" gym and the weights were up stairs. I went up and stretched, then lifted a bit, then went down to do my cardio. The place was EMPTY. All total, maybe 25 people in the whole gym. Very different from what I am used to in southern California. But, out of those 25 people, about 20 of them were guys, and most of them were young and good looking. The men's locker room is right off the cardio area, and you get a good view of who is going in and coming out of the locker room. While still doing my cardio, the young wet hairy guy from the locker room walked out, dressed for work and with his gym bag over his shoulder. So he must have showered after I exited. Wish I could have seen that! Then a very hot young guy, early 20's, dark hair, very handsome face, dark hair, fair skin (see a trend here?) and VERY sweaty heads to the locker room. I finished up about 10 minutes later. I get undressed and the locker room is till pretty dead. There was a young guy, who I think might have been Filipino (couldn't really get a good look) who was in a towel and walked to the showers. I strip, grab my towel, and walk to the showers. As I was walking naked to the showers, the hot pale guy walks out. He's wearing a towel, but has a very chiseled, defined muscular torso. He's very fair skinned, and mostly smooth. Damn! If I had gotten to the shower only a couple of minutes sooner, I could have showered with him. Oh well. The showers are very similar to my "regular" gym. A row of showers on each side of the walls, facing each other, with translucent partitions between them but no doors or curtains and are relatively open. I think there were 4 showers on the right side, and 3 on the left plus the private shower with a curtain at the end. I took the second shower on the left next to the Filipino guy. From my shower I had a pretty clear view of part of the locker room, and presumably, they had a pretty clear view of me too. That's when I noticed a young guy, early 20's at his locker. He was fair skinned, light brown hair, not quite hot, but good looking. He was wearing a purple muscle shirt. He walks to the shower fully clothed. He puts his towel on the towel hooks at the entrance and takes the first shower, the one on my left. He turns on the shower and gets wet. Fully clothed! Is he really that shy? But that turns out not to be the case. I have mentioned this before: wet clothes fetish. I am convinced that it exists. Over the years I have seen enough guys that begin to shower in their clothes, then slowly take them off until they are naked. These guys are not otherwise shy. So it is easy for me to notice that the guy takes his shorts off first, and is showering bare assed but still wearing his muscle shirt. He seems to have a nice plump cock. Then he finally takes off his muscle shirt and continues to shower completely naked. While this is going on, a pretty hot young blond guy walks by and takes the last shower on the other side, opposite the private shower. I never got a look at his front, but his backside was heavenly. So here's the interesting thing: there were 3 young guys in the shower at the same time I was, and not one of them chose the private shower. This is pretty much what happens in my gym back home. Why do people say "young guys just don't shower at the gym anymore" or "young guys are so shy in the locker room?" In my experience, this is just not the case. I was curious if guys in a different part of the country behaved differently. Maybe southern California was more relaxed about those things. Well, this is not scientific or anything, but at least based on the week I was in Portland, and the 4 different gyms I used up there, the attitude of guys up there seemed pretty casual when it came to locker room nudity.

While shaving, the guy who started his shower fully dressed came out of the shower completely naked, and walked back to his locker. I could see he had a bit of hair on the center of his chest, an avg length but fairly fat cock, and a small bush of light brown pubic hair. He took his time getting dressed. So his starting his shower in his clothes had NOTHING to do with being shy or modest. Again, isn't there someone who can study this kind of behavior? While shaving, the first guy I talked about, the smooth really hot guy walking out of the shower, was still getting ready. He seemed to spend a lot of time in the locker room. He didn;t seem to use a locker, as he stripped down naked right there at the sinks, dumped his clothes on top of his gym bag, and walked naked to the showers. After shaving, I got dressed and a very tall, dark haired, very good looking guy in his early 20's walked in a took a locker near me. He had a gym bag and also clothes on a hanger, which is a dead give-away that he will shower after his work out.
Even though it was not a busy gym at all, I was intrigued by what I saw. The few guys there were mostly young, most of them seemed to shower after their work outs, and most of them seemed fairly naked in the locker room. So not a total waste!
