I've told you about the gym near a National Guard base that I go to from time to time. Well, for the last month and a half, I've made it my regular gym. If you've read my blog before, you know I almost always work out in the morning on my way to work. Bringing breakfast with me to work is a hassle, because that is one more meal to prepare ahead of time ( I already bring my lunch every day) and it makes it kind of akward to be eating in the breakroom/lounge before starting work. It's awkward because even though I get there before my expected start time, and before almost everyone else, since I'm salaried there is the expectation that once you're at work, you need to be working.
So, I started going to the gym near the Guard base. Even though it is in the opposite direction from work, I found out if I get there about 30 minutes earlier than my normal workout time, I have time for a workout and shower, then drive back home to eat breakfast, then drive to work and still get there in time. The bad part is now I hit all the freeway traffic. The good part is seeing a whole different group of men naked every day.

No one else does" So I started to shower right there in the open, at the entrance to the shower room. Two other guys were right behind me. The first took off his towel and hung it on the towel hooks to my left, the other guy was already naked and hung up his towel as well. They stood there, right in front of me and slightly to my left, while they waited for a shower to open up. There I was, showering right in front of them. One of the guys is a regular.
