Need advice on lube for first timer

Hi guys, never bottomed before, and have only played around with my finger, no dildos or toys. I need your great advice on the best lubricant to use and best tips for a first timer. I know to expect some discomfort and maybe pain, but I am fine with it.

Astroglide is good stuff. I'm probably not the most experienced person to ask (I've only ever played with toys) but what I find really works for me is to mix something water-based (like astroglide) with a silicone-based lube. I'll squirt the silicone lube up into my ass with a syringe or something, and then use the water-based lube on my toys. The silicone has a nice viscosity and doesn't dry up as fast inside you, but the water based feels slicker and has more of a "glide" feel (less tugging on your insides than silicone alone). Then you can replenish the water based one as needed.

This may be overkill; take my suggestions with a grain of salt, as I'm not very experienced and have had *tons* of trouble training myself to bottom. I'm as curious as you to see what others reply with.
 
I recommend a silicon based lube. The water--based lubes dry out and become sticky.

Also try wearing a buttplug to train your ass to accept a cock. A medium sized one will work. Wear it a little each day until you can wear it comfortably for two hours. This will diminish that "need to poop" feeling when you've been penetrated. Don't forget to clean yourself out too. Best of luck!
 
Lube is a personal preference thing. If you're new to anal, then buy a lube sampler pack online and let your boyfriend grab your ankles and try different kinds until you find one that works for both of you. Be sure to use condoms and condom-safe lube.

Try Pjur Analyze Me Silicone. It's a great silicone that lasts a really long time because it has less glycerin (sticky stuff) than your store bought ID or astroglide, and you don't even have to use that much! . It also has a relaxing agent in it that just helps you relax more, doesn't numb anything :). With foreplay and this stuff you'll have a pretty great chance at having the perfect first time.
 
I prefer Wet Synergy. It is a hybrid lube. It is both water and silicone based. The best thing about it is that if it comes into contact with your mouth, it is sweet and does not ruin the mood because it tastes good. Wet has also introduced Wet Uranus for anal sex so you may also want to try that one.
