So I'm looking for a program (free if possible :) ) that erases all the hidden folders and all that stuff that your computer holds when you look at porn. I know you can empty cookies and temp internet folders but is there a program that goes further?

Um, there's no need to go further. If you erase your history, temporary internet files, tem folders, and cookies, that just about covers it. There's nothing else a program will do. In fact all of those programs are really pure crap and will screw your computer to no end, so badly you may notice it has a new arsehole somewhere.

i agree porn does not trace it self on your computer just delete the files that have porn in it and your done oh and clear your history.

thanks. besides just empyting the typical cookies, files etc from the options on my web browser, are there any folders on my computer I should go through and empty?

"C:\Documents and Settings\*USER ID*\Cookies"

"C:\Documents and Settings\*USER ID*\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files"

"C:\Documents and Settings\*USER ID*\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5"

"C:\Documents and Settings\*USER ID*\Local Settings\Temp"

"C:\Documents and Settings\*USER ID*\Local Settings\History"

"C:\WINDOWS\Temp"

Those are all the folders that such information would be in, and then some. The History and cookies should be cleared through your browser, but you can check there to make sure. And if you want to be 100% certain you've removed cache files, you can always check the "Temporary Internet Files" and "Content.IE5" folders.

In addition to ProvenLogic's info you may want to check the recent items list on both your start menu (Windows) and any video player that you use (in case you view video porn). Windows Media player for example stores the last few videos played in the recently viewed list.

If you downloaded any videos or pictures, check your default video and picture directory...

Don't spend any money or worry about getting 3rd party software. It's crapware and you run a bigger chance of inadvertantly downloading spyware or malware.

I'm not so sure about that!

I have half a dozen friends in the IT/Computer business who are real boffins. The all use (and I do now, too) a programme (free!) called Ccleaner.

In one click, it clears:

Temporary Internet Files
Cookies
History
Recently typed URL's
Last Download Location
Recent Documents
etc etc

It empties the Recycle Bin
and does a whole lot more.

But you make up your own mind ...

Check it out at http://www.ccleaner.com

Yes I have CC Cleaner, and it's really good. Also not sure what service your with but if with PC go with FOX. it is great for surfing porn, and when you say download a video clip you can 'clean up' straight after viewing.
Its is also very good

why so much hassle :) ?

get firefox.

when you're done with browsing porn hit ctrl+shift+delete. select what do delete.
done.
if you always delete the same things, just ctrl+shift+delete, enter and if you're quick enough you can even delete everything while someone is looking over your shoulder and he won't notice a thing ;)

I just use the Private Browsing feature in Safari. :-) It automatically deletes everything when you close it.
