I was down the Sound Garden tonight and looking through the MANY used cds they have like i usually do looking for anything that catches my eye. Well to my surprise they had JoJo's and Brooke Hogan's new cds already used. I was like what is this and how they get it lol. Anyways i listened to them and they are AWESOME!!! JoJo's is EXTREMELY better then her first cd way more mature but still has that r and b sound. Theres quite a few songs on it that could be singles ( This Time, The Way You Do Me, The High Road etc.)

I also bought the new Brooke cd which doesnt come out for a while. Well i was very surprised its really good. I havent listened to the whole thing but soo far i like every song. I didnt think she was going to be able to sing but she can. Maybe not the best but she def can sell records if they release the right songs.

I was just wondering if anyone else liked them and are enticpating their cds?
 
Theyve both been for download for quite awhile. Brooks CD is horrible minus ABOUT US. I don't like her nasal sound. JoJo's CD is awesome.
 
Brooke is trying too hard to emulate J.Lo's sound. There's only one J.Lo. She may suck, but it's still her thing.
 
Nobody is trying to emulate J.Lo's sound. Who would want to? Her sound is 'computer generation' and she stole that from Britney. lol.

Brooke just....something about her voice. I like her and all, I just ain't gettin into the CD. I LOVE About Us & Low Rider Jeans though. And that song she sang on the show isn't on the album. The one about her dad.
 
LOVE JoJo's new cd...that little girl can SING! Brooke's cd is alright...not the best...but she's got some good stuff on there...she really couldn't go wrong with Scott Storch giving her beats.

^^ Exactly. I've heard Brooke sing. I mean REALLY sing. And this record didn't show that powerful voice. And Fergie, don't even get me started. That song from Poseidon, holy sweet christmas was she phenomenal. I think it's called I Won't Let You Fell, I have it, I'm just to lazy to look up the name lol.
 
yeah I agree brooke can actually sing but she had to do a hip hop kinda sounding cd which is actually pretty good but her vocal talents don't really show... I love the song Heaven baby or w/e it's called
 
Ya'll make me think back to the day when Fergie was in the group Wild Orchid and hosted the fox family show Great Pretenders. I used to love that show and I love both Wild Orchid cds. They both show Fergies talent!
