New Degrassi Season 10 Promo (One of the most creative promo's I've ever seen)

The new season will have the school's first Tranny character or girl who feels like she's a man trapped in a girl's body. The character's name is Adam. There will also be 4-5 other new characters. The new characters look interesting and I'm so glad they got rid of a lot of the dead weight characters and characters I don't like (Johnny, Bruce, Danny, Jane, Blue, Emma, Manny). Other characters who are not in the promo will be back, they probably just don't have big parts or couldn't make the shoot for the promo.

There will be 48 episodes instead of 24. The first 24 episodes will be showing 4 new episodes a week for 6 weeks in July/August. The 2nd half will be shown later in the year. They're going for more of a soap opera format. Hopefully with 48 episodes we will actually get to know the characters we know nothing about.
 
I'll admit it was an interesting promo and I like that song...unfortunately Chante is still around. Is it official they cut Danny, but kept his boring girlfriend?

But ever since the school shooting episode (and arguably JT's death) the show has been hyping up the drama, which only falls flat when its aired. I'll still tune in out of loyalty, but I'm wondering just what "the biggest event in Degrassi history" will turn out being.

And I swear Sav looks hotter every time I see that guy...
 
Love those gay boys of Degrassi, those str8 boys are also hot.

This promo was the first time I thought Sav looked hot. He was ugly with the long hair. I still hate his character though. His storylines with Anya were boring and Lame.

Chante just unintentionally funny. She's been around 5 seasons and still has no storyline and you still know nothing about her. She's even useless in the promo. The fact that they neamed her Chante Black tells you how much thought the writers put into the character. "Mmm, what should Chante's last name be" "Who?" "That black girl who's been hanging around since season 4 yet no one even remembers her name." "I know, her last name could be black because she's black."
 
I haven't really watched since Marco left. But, that looks interesting, I'll to tune in.
 
I dont know anyone on there anymore.
My favorite was Manny/Cassie Steele. She was a fly bitch. I thought she would be the breakout star of the show. Too bad dumb Darcy and Mia were the ones that made it. I read she was supposed to be the lead in high school musical but had scheduling conflicts with Degrassi. She would be Vanessa Hudgens and prolly boning Zac Efron. Poor girl

Marco made a guest appearance as a student teacher in one of the episodes in Season 9. I don't think it really made sense with the time period. They've been doing 2 seasons per semmester so he's only out of high school for like 1 or 2 years and they had him be a student teacher in training for Degrassi.

Agreed. As long as Riley (the only compelling character left, not just because he's gay) gets a little more attention, especially in the company of the super hot Zane, I'll be happy.
 
I must have missed a hell of alot,as the last time I saw this show,I was in my early teens(13),and it was on Ch 13WNET.i thought this show went off yrs ago.
 
I'm just pissed that Jimmy (though not on the show) is still, probably, in a wheelchair. I could not imagine Drake, the rapper, rolling in in his wheel chair in one of those drive-by scenes with Spinner that Jimmy would be apart of in Season 6 or 7.

It's more realistic that they left him in the wheel chair. Big things have serious effects. They did end his storyline on a positive note with the stem cell thing. It gives hope to the character and other wheel chair people.

I guess that's one way to look at it, but I can't help but remember Jimmy's last appearance is with him blackmailing his dad (who Jimmy caught cheating with his secretary) to convince his mom to agree with his stem cell thing.
 
you know the one with the tarot card reading, i think taht means those 2 kids are going to have a kid together, upsde down death means life, so people are getting preggers on degrassi maybe?
