New gay here looking for advice, HELP! :)

How would he invite you to hang with his friends when you're both closeted? He would fear being exposed, as would you. And consider the possibility that he didn't call/text because he didn't wanna appear clingy.

That makes sense but I actually wouldn't mind him meeting my friends. I've even brought it up before. I'd actually trust him around my friends because he is closeted. I would never know that he was gay if he hadn't told me. He told me that he has told some of his friends that he was gay so wouldn't you think it would be fine for us to hang out? And the clingy part is exactly how I feel at times but I have told him numerous times that I don't mind being bothered. One day he was telling me about how his str8 best friend started ignoring him because he was being annoying, clingy, and acting like a girl and I told him that i wished he would annoy me a little more. So I think I've made it clear that I don't mind. And I honestly don't think it's right to tell someone that you were "too busy" to text or call them. That's kind of hurtful. I would never tell anyone that i liked that. Hell I'm a full time student and a full time employee and I'm never that busy!
