Hi guys,
So here goes...I have been very curious about guys for quite a few years now, but I am such a chicken when it comes down to actually acting out on anything. I guess what somewhat contributes to this is I wouldnt want any of my friends or family to know:-\ I am so nervous right now my hands are shaking........I have never gone this far w/ telling people about this kind of thing...

I have dealt w/ some jerks in chat rooms that aren't nice at all to me when I bring things up like this about me, so I have given up on the form of communication.

I attend a private university North East of Indianapolis, and am from the south side of Chicago. I am about 165 lbs, but am wanting to get a toned body....lol

so yeah, that is about all I can handle right now...........hope everybody is having a great day

Reading your post made me smile remembering how scared I was when I was in your shoes. It was stressful but I look at the news from the last week and know I did the moral thing for me and the people I'm close to. I might not fit into the mold that was being cast for me, but I do have self respect and pride that I was able to get through the journey. Take your time, be careful, and there is more to being gay than the club scene. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a self-help book, but I really wish the best for you.

telling anyone for the first time is really hard. i don't think it matters if it's online or what, i think it's more like an admission to yourself. so i want to say we are here to help and listen and offer hugs when we can and when you want them. that is the great thing about JUB.

Thanks guys for the encouragment so far It is really appreciated. I am glad I finally found a place where there doesn't seem to be a lot of jerks, like in the chats. If anybody wants to talk to me who is around my age too, that would be sweet.
