Am I the only one being bombarded with unsolicited spam of being my state's daily winner?! On top of that, I've tried repeatedly to reestablish my iGoogle as my homepage thrice! It's frustrating! I expected more from them!!!

I personally got rid of Firefox. It's just been a disaster lately. I'm sticking to Opera and Comodo Dragon (which is loosely based on Chrome). Comodo is an Internet Security firm.

My problem with Firefox wasn't ads, but rather it's slow speed... it seems to be very bloated and a mess.

I agree. After downloading their latest update, my computer repeatedly froze and when not totally frozen, took forever to load sites. I switched to Chrome and have had no problems since.

Sounds like you may have a viral problem, not a Firefox problem.

Just got the new FF ad today. Using FF and IE. Chrome was just a total mess: If I want everyone to know I took a poop today I will be the one to tell them.

Considering they have Adblock for Chrome helps wonders with blocking ads. I have had issues with Firefox giving me websites not opening it just started. I had to keep refreshing and it would eventually open. The only plugin I have is ad-block and that's it.

Always used Firefox, don't have any issues even using Windows 8 CP. And yes, Adblock Plus is a must!
