Plot: The serial is about a government who struck a deal in the 1960s with an alien race and the consequences of it - something that will affect all the children on Earth. It features CGI aliens called The 456 who are introduced in the third episode. The story further establishes the relationship between Jack and Ianto and how Gwen and Rhys cope with married life around Torchwood "as [Rhys] becomes almost the fourth member of the team."

I've only just started to tolerate Gwen but I hate the idea of Rhys being a fringe team member. I actually prefer that guy who was had some kinda crush or was an ex of gwen's who showed up for a couple episodes. I also hate the whole allusion to the jack and Gwen attraction. But all I know is they better not kill off Ianto.

Last nights episode rock I can't wait to tonights may God a got a few shocks when the plot twisted. Nice to see a bit more of Ianto's Family and someone else's too.

Don't want to spoil too much but I'll keep posting this week on how it goes. Oh and around 5.9 Millionn tuned in and it topped the time slot so that's good news.
