Hi guys! I'm relatively new here; I made an account at the end of December, but have not really used it until now. So, I am 21 and am currently a Junior in college studying Psychology. I am not sure if I want to try to become a therapist or a researcher. I am guessing that I will end up going into research because the majority of the parents in the US do not seem to take kindly to their children being counseled by a gay man (in their view: I might try to convert and/or molest their children).
I am more of an introverted person; I am relatively content going about my own business and not running my mouth, so to speak. I am initially uncomfortable around new people, which may be why I have never had a relationship with a guy, sexual or otherwise. I am a 21 year old virgin, quite sad/pathetic in my opinion. I just can't seem to approach guys and try to start something. When I have in the past, I have either been shot down (I'm not much of a looker) or the guy has been straight (awkward...).
I will leave it at that for now. I apologize for talking about such mundane things--I'm not quite sure what to put in an introductory post. This is the first forum I have joined. I hope my stay is rewarding and enjoyable. I look forward to talking to you guys!
