Nice iMac alternative

Just curious but in what way does the resolution suck?

There is nothing wrong with the screen resolution. It's become the industry standard. It's just that Paws wants 1920 X 1200.
Here is a picture of his thoroughly modern, up-to-the-minute iPhone :)

Sorry Paws, I couldn't resist:D

As far as the computer it sure looks like one of the old Mac monitors which were fabulous. Looking at the backside, I'm guessing this is a prototype judging by the crude appearance. Just one more thing. With the touch screen, does Microsoft give you a lifetime supply of windex to get rid of the oily fingerprints and a gym membership to strengthen your arms for doing gestures with your arms raised and unsupported? Just asking:help:

Reminds me of this old Apple thing:

Sheep makes a good point - ergonomic specialists say that touch screens in the traditional vertical arrangement are REALLY bad for you. They need to be table-top mounted, tilted at around 15 degrees.

The 24" iMac has this standard resolution, so why can't they use it in 22" monitors too?

Also, that PC comes with a wireless, interchangeable keyboard and mouse. The touchscreen is just a nice-to-have option.

Gramps would agree 100% with you. When his Dodge with 3 on the tree and a flathead six finally died he was mortified to find that he would have to get a V8 with one of them newfangled shiftless transmissions so he bought a used car :p

I can't say i see 1920x1080 as an issue in anyway (and I use a 24" 1920x1200 monitor). There are a lot of display manufactures who are using this resolution for 2 reasons 1080p content, and it saves them some money by squeezing more panels out of each sheet of materials used.

I would say it would be an issue if it was an odd man out, meaning only a very small number of manufactures are doing it. But this is not the case. This resolution has become an unofficial standard for monitors, its even being used on 24" models.

Besides the average consumer wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Hell they get confused just looking at the spec sheet. (No offense to anyone intended) :D
