I love nightmare on elm street movies and friday the 13th movies.

All these movies are cult.They are classics horror movies.

Nightmare 3 dream warriors.The best,the most original and the most entertaining.Good actors.Very good movie.9/10

Nightmare 4 dream masters.Good special effects.Freddy is really strong and hard to beat in that one.Good actors.Obvioulsy one of the best.9/10

Nightmare 1 The most cult of all.Intense horror movie.Very good.9/10

Nightmare 2 Very underated movie.Most people hate that one.In that movie freddy is very scarry and he looks really mean.This is the most dark movie of all freddy movies.This is one of my favorite.The actor who play the main caracter in this movie is gay in real life.This is the most scary freddy movie thats for sure.Very good.8/10

Nightmare 5 the dream child.Since nightmare 5 the freddy movies were less good than the others but they were still good in their own way.One of the best part of the movie is when the man goes in the comic book and fight freddy in black and white and you see a big freddy like a evil caracter in a comic book.This is brilliant.The actress who play alice is good and we believe in her caracter.Good movie.7/10

Nightmare 6 freddy s dead.The movie is not scarry but really entertaining.Who would believe that freddy could play video games.When the movie came out i saw the movie in cinema and it was in 3D.Everybody had glass for 3D and at the end of the movie when the women put her glass we know that we have to put our 3D glass too.It was special because when she enter in freddy mind it was all in 3D.When freddy explode all his body parts was everywhere in the cinema because it was in 3D.Everybody was touching freddy monsters and his body parts
so to speak because it was in 3D.Average movie.6/10

Nightmare 7 new nightmare.The movie is original but it s the less entertaining of all freddy movie.In that movie freddy don thave the red and blue shirt and he don t look that strong like in the other movies.This movie don t have the charm that the others have.This is not bad but not good either.Average movie.6/10


Friday the 13th 7 the new blood.The best.Jason is really at is best in that one.Jason finally find is match with a woman who have power.The actors are really good.It s obviously the less gore of all friday the 13th movies but it s the most entertaining for sure.Hollywood cut the movie a lot because of the gore.This movie is consider the gay friday the 13th movie because most of the men you see in the movie are gay in real life.I read it in the friday the 13th book.It s true.Some scary moments and some jumps.It s a very good movie.9/10

Friday the 13th 6 jason lives.Jason looks really scary in that one.One of the most gore friday the 13th movie.It s a male lead in that one and he looks stronger than all other leads of the friday the 13th movies.Even stronger than tina even if he don t have power.One of the best.It s a very good movie.9/10

Friday the 13th 2 This is the most scary one.A really good suspense at the end.That music who is really scary.You want to know whats going to happen.This is a very good horror movie.8/10

Friday the 13th 3 This is the most dark friday the 13th movie.This is the second scary one.At the end of the movie when you see the lead and jason it s really good.Horror movie like that don t exist today.A lot of people like this one.Very good.8/10

Friday the 13th 4 This one is good but don t have the charm of friday the 13th 2 and 3.The movie is predictable but entertaining.This is the most gore friday the 13th movie.In that movie jason kills with very violent ways.The lead in that movie is weak compare to other leads.The music is good.This is the most popular friday the 13th movie.This is the one who made more money.This is an average movie.6/10

Friday the 13th This is the cult one but not the best one.The kills are lame in that one.Everybody jumps at the end of the movie you know why.This movie is average.5/10

The others sucks but there it is.

Friday the 13th 8 jason take manathan.A lot of bad things to say about this one but it will be too long.First of all never send jason in city.Jason have to stay to crystal lake.You can think if it was jason in los angeles.It would be crazy.Jason look weird in that one.The worst thing in that movie is when these men talk to jason and jason take his mask off to scare them.Since when jason wants to do comedy.It s ridiculous.Most of what you see in that movie is bad.One of the only good thing in the movie is it s well filmed.This is boring.3/10

Friday the 13th 5 a new beginning.What to say about that one.It s one of the worst.Most people hate that one and we all know why.You will see at the end of the movie you will have a surprise.Everybody who saw this movie knows what i m talking about.This movie is crap crap crap crap boring boring boring boring.2/10

Jason goes to hell.What the f word is that?This movie kill the friday the 13th movies.How it s possible to make other friday the 13th movies after a crap movie like that.You saw cliche that was in others friday the 13th movies and they don t works in that movie at all.Theres a lot of non sense in that one.They should never make this boring movie.1/10

Freddy for sure. He's very sneaky & smart too. Moves fast & murder people like crazy without leaving any evidence. Its just fabulous. Jason is ok. Big guy & very tough to beat. Lets put it this way, Jason can be my body guard. Freddy can be my bf. Whoaaaa!

My faves from both franchises were the first ones. Anytime I hear about them I think about Johnny Depp getting sucked through the bed or Jason's crazy ass mom. I thought those damn girls singing freddy's coming for you was the creepiest thing at the time.

As for whose stronger, I think freddy has the upper hand. I always found freddy to be more entertaining than Jason.

I think Freddy vs Jason was a great movie..Freddy has the brains & can get to you in your sleep; while Jason has the brawn & gets you while your running through the woods screaming...you can't sleep or stay awake forever so either way we'd be screwed & they compliment each other nicely

But I'd take my chances with Jason, he gets it done quick & just slices you in half or whatever in 1 hit...Freddy plays mind games with you & tortures his victims...Tina, 1st NoES, in the bedroom anyone? Yikes

The first time I saw Friday The 13th I was really disappointed when it turned out to be his mum doing the killing.

The Nightmare On Elm Street films were a lot better and the deaths were more imaginative. The best to worst are 1, 3, 7, 4, 5, 6 and 2. I liked Freddy Verus Jason as well.

My favorite lead in nightmare on elm street movies is Alice.Nancy and christine are also good leads.In nightmare 4 alice kick the ass of freddy in the church.She is very strong.I know alice got the power of christine but i still prefer watch alice fight.Unlike nancy and christine.Alice looks very tough and she is not afraid of freddy at all.This is the only movie that you see that freddy looks like he is kind of afraid of a woman.Nancy and christine are strong but more vulnerable. Alice take control of the situation better than the others.Alice rocks.

My favorite lead in friday the 13th movies is tina.I like tommy also and the lead woman in the friday the 13th 3.For once jason have a really hard time because of a woman who have power.It s good to see that finally someone can kick jason ass.It would be fun if we can make things move with our mind.Some says that it s possible.Don t mess with tina.

While I have always liked both franchises... I have to admit to liking the Friday movies better....

Here's why...

In the Nightmare movies Freddy seemed to be a little over the top...more of a prankster... While I understand that Freddy definitely enjoyed killing he seemed to overly enjoy it as if the entire thing was more of a game to him.....

Nancy made the best foil for him but Alice was great.... order of preference... 1,3,5,4,7,2,6

As for the Friday franchise.... Ok this to me is what horror movies are about.... The first one involved a crazy vengeance seeking mother gone mad over the death of her son.... upon her death at the end, her son, Jason, is resurrected as a spirit of vengeance basically bound to Crystal Lake....

This series has also always been a moral play... anytime someone does anything considered "morally reprehensible" ie. sex, drugs, alcohol... they end up dead....

The fact that Jason is a silent killer also mirrors STD's in that they sneak up on you when you are ususlly engaged in "unhealthy" lifestyle choices......

Order of preference.... 1,2,3,4, ( 4 also has COREY FUCKING FELDMAN)
after that it becomes more kill-fest than storyline... but hey thats what we pay to see...
10,(which I simply adored because of its tongue in cheek style)
6,5 (too many needless kills, plus copycat killer)
7,8,9 were the biggest wastes of time though...
7 Jason looked foolish and he used a powertool for the first time ever (New Blood)
8 Jason in the big city was silly and boring (Manhatten)
9 The unknown sister and the eatting of body parts was too much (Final Friday)

Now onto Freddy Vs Jason.... while this was an enjoyable watch to see both those screen legends attack one another in a battle royale... there were a few facts seemingly unnoticed......
1) Jason's mom was pathetic... Betsy Palmer was the best and she is still alive...
2) Freddy Achieved 0 kills in the movie.....none, nada, naught, zero, zilch....
3) Jason's first kill was overdone... He has always been a 1 hit 1 kill kinda killer... the stabbing relentlessly and then crushing with the bed was over the top and not Jason's style...
4) YOU CAN NOT DRIVE FROM ILLINOIS TO NEW JERSEY IN ONE NIGHT.... Springwood, home of Freddy is in Illinois.... Crystal Lake, home of Jason is in New Jersey...

11. Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Ok, I thought the whole movie was bullshit, no joke. He was in Manhattan for like 8 1/2 minutes

10. Part III: 3D

In 3D? C'mon, the 3D inserts were so obvious

9. Part II

It's been awhile since i've seen this so I don't really have any comments

8. Part V: A New Beginning

Ok, so I thought the movie moved kinda slow and Tommy was way too troubled but the actor that played him was kinda cute...

7. Part VI: Jason Lives

Jason's a zombie now, good for him!

6. Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday

I thought the idea was original and I like the opening sequence between him and the victim/FBI agent or whatever

5. Jason X

So yeah, it was corny and it outer space but I liked it anyway

4. The Original

A classic with a great freaky ending

3. Freddy Vs. Jason

Slasher icons for a new generation, which I guess would technically be min e

2. Part VII: The New Blood

I liked the fight at the end between Jason and the telekinetic girl, she was a badass

1. Part IV: The Final Chapter

I really like Trish and young Tommy, plus I loved seeing Jason's new scary ass face.

I've only seen like three of the Nightmare on Elm Street movie, the concept scared me as a child. Oddly enough the concept of Jason kinda unnerves me as an adult; maybe it's that whole serial killer level of "realism".

Maybe it s possible for jason to beat freddy because he is bigger and jason had kill more people than freddy.If jason wants to beat freddy it will be hard.

I think you're right, they are both powerful in their own way. In the end i'd give the title to Jason for the simple fact that in a couple of the Nightmare movies they had that drug that could suppress dreams, if you took that every night you wouldn't have to worry about Freddy. As for Jason...well you can't suppress him. Oh, and sorry if someone already mentioned that and I stepped on your toes, I have a tendency to only skim posts.

Fave Nightmare Films in Order: 4, 3, 1, 5, 2, 6, New Nightmare.

Fave Friday Films in Order: 3, 7, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1, Jason Goes to Hell and then Jason X.

I prefer the Nightmare series though. My fave Nightmare lead has to be Alice. Alice was the shit. My fave Friday lead has to be Tina with her sweet powers or else Chris from the 3rd installment. I liked other characters like Nick and Maddy from part 7 and J.J. from the 8th one.

I think that Freddy is stronger than Jason. Freddy has killed people in better ways.

I honestly love Freddy more. He's the shit.
