I am straight and have maybe thought of getting my nipples pierced does anyone have them done and how do u like them and stuff.

Some of a friend's friends (these are young guys in their 20's) have had their nipple/nipples pierced. Invariably they say it's the worst pain they ever felt but their girl friends think it's hot.
There is no amount of HOT that would make me feel that kind of pain.
One of his, larger of stature, friends told me the pain WOULD have brought him to his knees if he hadn't already been sitting.
Take it from there......

I had mine done, and it didn't hurt that bad at all.

The healing process is the hard part. It takes a LONG time to heal fully. Plus you can't have anyone's saliva all over them until they heal fully or you will get them infected.

And this is an interesting place for this thread. It really should go in either Health & Wellness, or Hot Topics probably, unless you think for some reason there's something gay about having nipple piercings? (hint: they have nothing to do with sexual orientation)

I've had mine pierced before. I paid extra to get this numbing gel rubbed on them because the lady at the counter said that it was a really painful piercing. Even though they used the gel it hurt really bad on both. While driving home They were throbbing so bad that I wanted to take them out. After I took an Advil they stopped hurting. For some reason my healing process took really long, after about a year I took them out for a couple of days during a vacation so I could hide them from my parents when we went swimming, and when I went to put the jewelery back in, the wouldn't go in. I was thinking about going back to get them re-pierced, because I loved them, after the pain stopped, BUT I don't know if I could build up the courage to go the the process again. Even though my story sounds a little scary, I would say go through with it, the pros out weigh the cons.

When using an anesthetic like that, a lot of untrained people won't let it sit on long enough to fully take effect. Did they let it sit on your nipples for a full 15 minutes, and check you before they started piercing to see if you could feel anything?

When analgesia is used properly, you'll still be able to feel pressure and temperature changes slightly, but you shouldn't feel ANY pain or discomfort.

Well, if you ever do, make sure it's by someone who has a lot of experience. . .and see if they'll give you a consultation before they just start piercing you.

Yeah they let it stay on for more than 15 minutes because they were really busy that day. Then they tested with a little toothpick if I could feel anything, first poking my chest and then my nipple. Also I think I will try to research more on the place and the piercer if I do it again.

I got my left nipple pierced a month ago.

I did a thread about piercings here

It has healed very well and I am now playing a little with it. I like the look and feel of it. One second of excruciating pain, then just a dull throbbing pain for a short while. Tolerable and not nearly as bad as I expected.
