No, this isn't an anti-incumbent year

So being an incumbent doesn't have anything to do with it -- being a member of the majority party does.

Well I guess we need to clarify terms here. Droid's post which I disagreed with was basically saying that the disagreement with Obama/The Democrats has nothing to do with them being the majority/incumbent party. That's how I was referring to 'incumbent', a majority of incumbents are Dems.

What his post was basically saying is that he thinks it's the policies or specific actions that Obama/the Dems are taking that is the sole cause of opposition, not just because they are the majority.

He used 'incumbent' for that, but maybe majority would have been a better word.

I was disagreeing with that, and saying that the fact that the Dems are the current incumbent majority does in fact have a lot to do with it.

Majumbant would refer to the individual. Incumbajority would be the collective.

It is a backlash against incumbents in general, not just incumbent Democrats.
