Lots of guys like being nice for the sake of being nice, you dunno if he's really interested or not. From my experiences in the exact same situation, I'd say you should move on.
 
I've been on both sides of this situation, and I'm almost certain he's trying to tell you subtly that he isn't interested.

You never want to be the one initiating all the communication. Keep that in mind in the future so you don't come across desperate or clingy. I was seeing a guy briefly, liked him, all that, but the problem came when he texted me every day. Some people may like that (though I suspect it's a minority), but it gets tiresome for others like me who need their space.

So yeah. Next time try to get equal parts attention back by giving the guy some breathing room. Give him the opportunity to show his interest in you. You may not have been texting him every day per se but from the sounds of it the communication was lopsided.

Also, definitely move on. :)

Although the decision comes with two options. You can directly ask him if he is interested in you therefore giving you a solid answer, or you can just stop contacting him.

The first option has an opportunity, whereas the second does not. Take your pick.

If it were me, and I could see myself being with him, I would ask directly. If it wasn't anything special then I wouldn't ask.
 
Relax! Not every friendship includes sex, but don't avoid friendship because of that. However, IMHO, the best kind of sex is that which comes about when two friends have become more than friends and they have reached the point where sexual expression is wanted and needed by both. The sex that happens seems natural and right because it comes about as a confirmation of the bond that has already come to be between them. Subsequent re-confirmations are settings of fantastic sex.
