O.J. Simpson to Discuss Killings
by Associated Press

O.J. Simpson speaks during an interview at the Fox ...

LOS ANGELES - Fox plans to broadcast an interview with O.J. Simpson in which the former football star discusses "how he would have committed" the slayings of his ex-wife and her friend, for which he was acquitted, the network said.

The two-part interview, titled "O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened," will air Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, the TV network said.

Simpson has agreed to an "unrestricted" interview with book publisher Judith Regan, Fox said.

"O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes," the network said in a statement. "In the two-part event, Simpson describes how he would have carried out the murders he has vehemently denied committing for over a decade."

The interview will air days before Simpson's new book, "If I Did It," goes on sale Nov. 30. The book, published by Regan, "hypothetically describes how the murders would have been committed."

In a video clip on the network's Web site, an off-screen interviewer says to Simpson, "You wrote 'I have never seen so much blood in my life.'"

"I don't think any two people could be murdered without everybody being covered in blood," Simpson responds.

Simpson, who now lives in Florida, was acquitted in a criminal trial of the 1994 killings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. Simpson was later found liable in 1997 in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the Goldman family.

Messages left with Simpson and his attorney Yale Galanter were not immediately returned.

Is this some feeble attempt by him to regain some of his reputation? I tend to think it's just a way for him to make money from it. That book is going to be gobbled up.

Yes, it's in the charming tradition of John Wayne Gacy's "I don't know how those bodies got there, but man did they ever stink" and Charles Manson's "Sure it was my idea, but technically, I wasn't there when it happened".

If this doesn't make his pathetic ass some cash, his next project will be home videos of him actually committing the murders.

Not that I am a fan of Fox News (I'm not) but everytime I am flipping through the channels, it seems like since the election, all Fox has on are video war clips, war stories and reports of killings.

Who in their right mind has ANY interest in what Simpson has to say? This is like scraping the bottom of the barrel. Oh well. It's no secret that Fox ratings took a big slide after the elections. They are drooling for something sensational but this is a real loser topic. I will not be watching Simpson making yet another attempt at dealing with his own guilt.

Did the Goldman family ever collect a dime from that wrongful death suit?

Morbid curiosity will compel many to watch and buy the book. I'm caught in the dilemma of curiosity and my moral obligation to not be a party to his profiting on this. What I'd really like to see is him trip up and publicly admit his guilt...but I'm certain that will never happen. I'm sure it's going to be discussed on every news and talk show prior to and after the interview... I hope not though. I hope networks and news stations collectively group together and chose to ignore him and his attempts for free publicity. Barbara Walters said she refused an interview with him...good for her. I hope there are more who will take a similar stance.

I feel so bad for his kids...what kind of a Father would describe (allegedly) fictitious details of how he would kill their Mother...what a sick bastard!

I hope the Goldmans sue for the money he still owes him from the civil suit.

What lawyer in his right mind would even let him anywhere near that interview? And why in the hell would he even think of doing it? is he psychotic? or some sort of dissociative personality disorder or something? If he is doing it for the money its disgusting, but it sounds like he is doing because he knows he probably cannot be tried for it again and is gloating!! What a fucking sicko...

I think the victims families have like a 33.5 million $ judgement against him. Would they not get any money earned from this sick ass action?

I think it's a way for him to thumb his nose at "the system"

Hope he rots in hell!!!!

Don't buy the book--take Abbie Hoffmann's advice and steal a copy. No profit in stolen books!

One day he will answer to a higher power!

O.J. is revolting, disgusting and guilty as all hell.

:grrr:

Once again he has managed to manipulate the press to keep himself in the lime light. I don't care about how he has used the system as most people of wealth has done and can't say I'd blame him. I dont think it was ever a question of if he "did it", as much as can he use the same tactics to get himself off without self incrimination. The justice system can be swayed and bent to work for you if you have the resources.

The only question I (and hopefully others) would ask is how dispicable you can continue to be towards the living victims and your children. Do they have to continue to suffer at his lack of disregard of their feelings and how low of a person can you be? He is going to die an old pitiful soul with no trace of love in his meaningless existence. That might be considered as justice.

What an arrogant MoFo.
He not only got away with cold blooded murder but now he wants publicity and to make money off his book.
Allegedly he is still looking for the "real killer", but the law of probability is that the killer doesn't live on the golf courses OJ frequents. It would be interesting to see just how much he has spent on finding the "real killer".

Steal it? - Why would anyone in his/her right mind wanna read what this idiot has to say. I wish ppl would boycott the publisher and Fox on this (apparently NBC passed on broadcasting this crap, even thought it could help their ratings).

I say go NBC! Fox seems to be broadcasting anything in the name of entertainment - propably won't be long before they broadcast live executions and/or abortions (with 3 dimwits judging and commenting on the action)... all in the name of entertainment - something in the line of http://www.tshirthell.com/miscpages/newsletter_060506.htm (american... idol)

I read about this a few days ago... I can't wait to take special orders for it at the bookstore.

This is just his way of rubbing everyone's noses in it and reminding us that he got away with it...

O.J. = INNOCENT

The only reason this was a big deal/and was turned into a circus was due to the victim being "WHITE".

Of course OJ has to be insane to do this interview...the media is going to eat him alive. They are already upset ;)

He's a murderer. Does anybody think he would have conscience? But what about FOX? How much are they paying him? Doesn't FOX have any sense of decency?

Don't buy the book--take Abbie Hoffmann's advice and steal a copy. No profit in stolen books!

this, alas, is not true.

The book stores must pay for any books that they don't return, so if you steal it, the only people losing out are the bok stores... and of course, by carrying the book, they deserve to lose money.

But OJ will get paid for that copy you stole.

Sorry.
