OCD is normal. Apparently.

Autism is NOW fashionable for mothers wanting special children.
They think Autistic = Artistic.

The Catholic Democrat Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. says—

Autism Rates 1983 = 1 in 10,000

2013 = 1 in 88

2022 = 1 in 36

2025… estimates 1 in 2

^ It was an apt description of Monk.

By the way, the line "I might be wrong, but I don't think so" is a line from Monk's theme song.

I have a rotation system for my plates, saucers, bowls, glasses, and coffee mugs. It is similar to the system grocery stores use with perishable food items, placing the oldest items up front so that they'll be the first snatched up by customers, and placing the the newest items behind the oldest items. I still do it, though I don't have to worry about spoilage with dishes, glasses, and mugs. I guess that's sort of OCD.
Hmmm. I never really considering myself as having OCD. But I do rotate my underwear and socks. My thinking is that I what the set purchased in a package to wear out at the same time. Otherwise only the top-of-the-stack will get worn out. For instance, putting on a pair of sock and later in the day you have to keep pulling up one of the socks because the elastic is worn out. At the end of the day they go into the laundry basket and you don't know which sock you want to toss out.

It took me the usual twenty minutes to prepare my smoothie this afternoon because before adding 1 cup of blueberries, each blueberry must be inspected individually to determine if it is "ok" and whether or not it is appropriate for today's smoothie or fresh and firm enough to go back in fridge to be used later in the week.

Isn't this just common sense?

In school I always had a sketch pad and pencil in hand. I couldn't stop drawing between classes. Friends said I was a compulsive artist.
