i have yet to have an experience with a guy. i have noticed over the last 6 years dating girls and seeing others date/hook up with girls, that guys that are nothing special looking, can easily get with a total babe if the girl finds them interesting. even an overweight guy can get with a babe girl.

if i ever get with a guy i dont want him to just be ordinary looking, i would want a good looking muscly guy.

i am decent looking, not overweight but nothing special. is it easy for 'normal' looking guys to hook up with amazing looking guys like i have noticed it is with girls?

It can happen, anything is possible. But the gay community, like much of today's society, can be exceedingly shallow. The average to below average guys often won't give guys in their own range a chance, so the really attractive men are often even worse. It all depends on the individual though. Maybe you should start hitting the gym more if you're concerned about being able to land an attractive enough man.

Well, chemistry is chemistry. If you have it with someone, you'll know. Who knows, you might find someone you think is "average" and after spending some time chatting or whatever you realise you now think he's hotter than the sun and then it all happens. The brain is a large player in the game.

I'll admit I have been surprised at the high level of interest I have attracted from guys I'd have thought would not be interested (since I don't view anyone as being out of my league). Having said that, I've been surprised at the level of disinterest (and second-guessing) I've got from guys who really are no great shakes. Not that I expect them to be falling over themselves because I'm talking to them, but the impoliteness and theatrics I've seen is both OTT and unnecessary.
