Eiza is stunning as usual, but that yellow dress was just way too...bland. Of course a Gay Mexican Facebook page that I follow was quick to make memes about it.

I really feel Sufjan Stevens should have won best original song for that, all the songs on that album are really good. Songs fit the movie so well.
Movie is amazing all around.

Also I think Timothée Chalamet should have won for the last scene in that movie alone, it crushed me.
Oh well, glad I don’t take award shows seriously.

She could have entered in NASCAR.
A close friend had the same reaction. He said it sorta hit a nerve, but he was talking about the end of the book, and I think it ends differently. I liked how the end implied he had taken the next next step in the rite of passage but was close enough to the summer that he still felt the rawness of it ending.
Facing the fireplace was a good artifice to make it more plausible.

For me CMBYN was a 6 or so until the last 10 minutes or so. Then it became the strongest 10 I have ever seen. Arnie Hammer and the others were good, but Timothée Chalamet made and carried that movie the entire time in my opinion. I admit I have not seen Darkest Hour, but I am sure I will always feel Timothée Chalamet was robbed.
And yes besides fanboying, award shows are a joke. I never get why they are on TV.

I think I saw Tim in another movie called Lady Bird? Which is also supposed be good, I might watch because it does look good and he’s in it.
