Ive hit a point where I don't trust having sex with anyone now. I'm completely turned off by it; I don't even want people touching me anymore. I haven't had sex in months because of a previous bad encounter. Being petrified of contracting HIV from that person pushed me over the edge. After finding out my results I still avoided sex like the plague. I refused to do anything with anyone.

. I finally gave in the other night but, I stopped at oral. A few hours later I'm a little sore from him being a little rough. Now almost two days later I'm feeling slight tingling sensations. Almost like I have to use the bathroom constantly.

I'm totally frustrated right now and over it all.
I'm wondering if its difficult to contract STDs from oral sex? Should I wait it out and see if things improve?
Thanks guys for any advice!
Can you explain what exactly you did? Was it just oral only? And did you suck him? Or did he suck you? Or did you both suck each other off?
The risk of catching HIV from sucking cock is very low, and the risk of catching HIV from having your cock sucked is even lower.
If you sucked his cock, you are at a higher risk for getting herpes infection, & HPV (which can cause oral cancer).
If he sucked your cock, you are probably safe unless he bit down on you causing you to bleed or there were open sores inside his mouth.
Those "tingling" feelings & need to pee frequently that you're describing could be psychological. Sometimes when we are so worried or scared that we might have a disease or infection, we can make our body "feel" sick even when it is not.
I think you should relax. Oral sex alone is a low risk activity. Of course, if you suck someone (or have someone suck you) with a condom on, that would be even more safe, but I don't think that a lot of guys enjoy getting or giving blowjobs on a condom.
HIV has the highest risk for anal sex, and almost all cases of HIV transmission among men who have sex with men (MSM) have been between men who have been using IV needles for drugs, and/or anal sex without a condom, or in cases where the condom broke.
The Top should always, ALWAYS use a condom during anal sex.
So once again, if what you described is exactly what happened, you are probably fine. If getting another HIV test six weeks to 2 months from now will make you feel better, then go ahead and get tested at that time. But you had a very low risk encounter, at least for HIV.
You may also wish to see a doctor or health-care professional and check for any other STDs, if that will reassure you as well.
