Hi Lube, I always like reading your perspective on things.

It just happens that the general group of people I work with are (so far) all straight. I really need to find a job in the gay part of town... LOL! It's just my dumb luck!

I do put myself out there, but work and responsibilities have put severe constraints on my free time. I'm not "out there" as much as I'd like to be, though. Right now, the mortgage has priority.

So I recently met this guy that got me instantly hard. We started talking, hit it off very well, became friends..... and of course he's got a GF. ](*,)

Give it time; things don't happen overnight. I crushed on a few straight(?) guys, too. It's a lesson learned. You move on. Your gaydar becomes better over time. :D

I know things are hard in this tough economy. I totally get that. But make sure you spend some time on your emotional health. (*8*)
 
You're in LA right? I see plenty of old/young couples. Too many, if you ask me. In any case some of these relationships may be based on money, but not all are.
