It's never been safe to say "Things can't get worse." Say that and for sure things get worse in Iraq. "Verge of civil war", "Civil War", "Chaos" - all define Iraq today - mainly Baghdad - where the populace has to live with conditions we'd decry as unlivable - unfathomable - unbelievable in this country.

In the article Richard Perle and the other so-called architects of the Iraqi democratization plan are now ganging up on the Bushites - decrying the way the post-invasion period has been handled.
In essence they're blame shifting from themselves to the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld - sort of disingenuous but another sign the Prez stands alone and more so all the time.
"No Way Out" - good "Soviet mole" movie in the 80s - apt subtitle for today.
