Oklahoma Chairman of College Republicans charged with 2 felongy charges (not surprising in Okla)

Jonathan Hernandez, Chairman of the Oklahoma College Republicans had 2 felony charges filed against him:

1 - forced oral sodomy
and
1 - indecent or lewd acts with child under age of 16

Hernandez met the victim at a church were Hernandez was a minister. The victim was then 14 years old.

In Oklahoma, determining the GOP are hypocrites is rather routine and frequent. In the land of Oral Roberts, it not uncommon to find hypocrites amongst the clergy either.

3. A lot of issues intersect, politics, sex, the law (both written and unwritten laws of decency), and the hypocrisy if unsurprising is still a bizarre phenomenon. I was just talking to a friend about how the loudest protestors are latent homosexuals. And it burns to see homophobic policy pushed by people doing these things behind closed doors. Popular culture tends to erroneously define sodomy as anal sex. It's not. It's anal or oral copulation.

Sounds like a Victorian distinction to ostracize and ban all sex but procreation sex.

Respect your elders! Rand has been a regular poster on JUB for over a decade and a half. He used to appear in Hot Topics more frequently when it was more active and diverse.


I love Rand's reference to Oral Roberts. Can you imagine anyone today naming their son Anal Jones? Roberts must have been thankful he was only named for the lesser crime.
