After I masturbated this morning, I've been going to the bathroom peeing over and over again. The masturbation part may be a coincidence, but I feel I'm losing my body's water. Even though the only thing I drank in the morning was coffee, I had to keep peeing.

I looked up signs and symptoms, and I'm afraid I might have diabetes. My father had it, and passed from it when I was little. I also felt a little tingling in my foot and hand.

Ok just now I had diarrhea after eating pizza. It's like everything I eat and drink goes right through me. I had chips and they went right through me as well, but didn't give me diarrhea like the pizza did. And I was constipated all weekend, now I have to deal with this. :(

Is there something wrong with me? Or are these minor things that I shouldn't worry about?

Maybe you should get checked since you just mentioned that diabetes runs in your family, but also, you've had caffeine, chips and pizza... maybe you should think about changing your eating habits as well.

This would be a good time to schedule a physical with your primary care doctor.

I agree, get a physical from your doctor. But don't blame it on the masturbation. You guilt trip enough already.

Pretty much everyone I know eats the same way I do, and they never have the problems that I'm having today.

This whole thing only just started today, and I haven't been the healthiest of eaters so why would I only have these problems today? I mean, I was just constipated over the weekend. What changed that fast?

I sometimes get constipated and then have about three bowel movements ending in diarrhea. I have mentioned to my family doctor that I haven't always had regular bowel movements for much of my life. There was really no comment. I don't know if this is anything like what you had. I would guess that I am much older than you. Let me know if you determine a cause that you think might help me. Thanks.

Grease and caffeine.

Just because everyone you know can get away with something doesn't mean you can - we all have different bodies.

Agreed.
Another telling sign of diabetes is the insatiable urge to drink lots of fluids. Are you overweight? Do you have any problems with your feet, as in ulceration that takes far to long to heal?
How is your eyesight? Sudden onset of diabetes is not uncommon, especially if you fall into certain life-style choices. Drinking only a caffeine based drink, will dehydrate you very quickly.
You mentioned your late father had diabetes, was his type one, or type two? A few simple tests carried out by your GP will determine
if you have diabetes. As others have mentioned, changing your eating habits would be of great benefit, for not only your pancreas but also your liver, kidneys and heart. Go see your Dr, i wish you well.

^Many diabetics suffer from poor and reduced vision, this takes time and is not associated with sudden onset diabetes. Also a lot more common in type one diabetes.
As the OP had mentioned his father dying from the causal effects of diabetes, i was explaining the warning signs he should be aware of.

I'm not overweight, I'm underweight. No problems with my feet. And I do have bad eyesight, but I've had bad eyesight for years so I don't think it's the onset of diabetes.

Really the only symptoms I'm having of diabetes is peeing more than usual and slight tingling in my hand and feet briefly. These may not even be related to diabetes.

I haven't been drinking coffee for a couple days now, but I notice it's hard for me to poop with no coffee in my system. Drinking coffee every morning helped me poop.

But I've been getting away with it for years now, why would that change just overnight?

trustie, the human body is an amazing, self-regulating instrument. Maybe you had diarrhea because you were constipated for a few days and your body just got rid of things naturally. The excessive peeing might be related to that, too. If the diarrhia and urinating continue, you need to look into it.

Just because you have always been able to eat a certain way doesn't mean your diet won't catch up with you at some point. Eat a well balanced diet and don't live on pizzas, burgers and sodas.

BTW, are you a hypochondriac by any chance?

It is a myth that drinking coffee in moderation is dehydrating.. coffee is a well known diuretic/it can contribute to excessive urinating....coffee is also a useful liver cleaner.

Avoid alcohol........and when you have a free moment get tested for diabetes...in view of your family history.
