On Display - Walmart

After I accidentally squirted hand sanitizer that now has a fragrance at the LCBO Booze-atorium today, the last stop on our shopping expedition...I used our own unscented sanitizer to try to remove the stank and dribbled a huge glop into my crotch.

Our first thought (simultaneously) even though this was our last scheduled stop was that we should swing by the Walmartatorium because it did look like I pissed my pants (old guy thing).

We didn't, but we agreed it would have just made men my age feel better and more confident about going out.

What is your most surprising/horrifying/inspiring experiance with Walmart people?????

Walmart used to own the Asda supermarket chain in the UK. I believe they sold it a few years ago. I don't shop at Asda, but I've not heard that their stores, staff or customers are any worse than similar chains such as Tesco.

Age reveal alert: When I was 17 and burning CDs was still a thing I went to Walmart with a friend to buy some blank CDs and a creeper tried to lure us to his car. This is when I was naive and didn't know how dangerous and scary the world was so when he asked for my name I told him but I caught on when my friend gave him his middle name. If I had been by myself that could've ended way worse than it did. "Free CDs? FUCK YEAH!"

Worked there for a few years, one of the best jobs I had. Not sure why people accuse it of being evil or treating its employees poorly.

The thing I have noticed about WalMart that I don't really notice anywhere else is a weird lack of respect for space.

Over and over I see shopping carts blocking the whole isle or families walking in a straight line across (which is bizarre to me) blocking everything and other "it's all about me" vibe where people have no understanding that their actions intrude on everyone else.

We are rarely in the store but we do get Walmart grocery delivery mostly for water seltzer and some select food items. They have one pound containers of baby spinach that is great and they have a whole wheat French bread that is good.

I give a good tip especially if there is a lot of water or heavy items. Although a delivery guy asked if I was gonna help him bring in the case water. Ground level delivery with vehicle 6 feet from my door.

They have to get the damn shit out of the middles of the aisles though it is such a pain in the ass to maneuver your cart (uk trolley) around some shit head looking at wart remover while youre boxed in by sunscreen and toilet paper! And have you noticed that they stock everythjng zt the same time regardless if it needs it or not a few summers ago they were completely out of bottled water but they were stocking Jack and motor oil WTF?
