On screen fireworks

Does anyone else find the JUB on scree fireworks (Jan 1st) super annoying? I'm sure they are well intended, but it makes viewing posts difficult.

I think the fireworks are a nice touch. Though I notice that the cooling fan in my laptop now comes on when I"m on JUB, which means that it takes more computing power to run it.

I turned off the special effects when all the snow appeared before Christmas. I'm not seeing fireworks.

I didn’t know that was an option. I’ll have to see if I can figure it out.

At the top of the page click on your username then preferences then scroll down and you'll see disable holiday styling check it then save and it will go away

I thought it worked - it was only there for like a day and the first picture I looked at the fireworks exploded right on the guys ass hole and I thought that was pretty cool!
