Hey guys
My new story isn't exactly a sequel to my last one (The Greatest Love of All) but it follows one of the main characters. My aim though is to make it so that it won't be confusing if you didn't read my last story but at the same time it won't be too repetitive if you did. Anyway, i hope you like it. It's a bit slow to get off the ground since we have to go over some of Alex's history but trust me, it does heat up
Chapter one follows below.

The early morning light made his naked skin glow, and showed just how beautiful he is. A line of light from the slightly open door ran up his right leg and over his firm, round buttcheek, up his strong back. He rolled over as he began to stir from sleep, and screwed up his face as the sunlight hit it, his blond hair glimmering. A girl put her head round the door and giggled.
“Aaaaalex?!”
She got no response, so she picked up a cushion and threw it at his arse, hitting the target perfectly. Alex mumbled into the pillow, wishing something more hard and sexy was banging his arse.
“Alexander, the morning draws to a close!” Nicola smiled, knowing her patronising talk was winding him up. He’d been out late and getting up wasn’t a priority. He sat up slowly and ruffled his hair. Feeling pain flood his head, he wondered how much he’d had to drink a few hours earlier. Nicola sighed and walked to the kitchen, coming back quickly with a large glass of water.
“You’re quite the pretty picture of a hangover this morning Alex,” she looked down and grinned, “erection carelessly on display and everything.”
“What? Oh.” He blushed and quickly moved his hand to cover his cock, and spilt the full glass of water over the bed and himself.
“Bollocks.” He cursed angrily.
“Indeed.” Nicola laughed. Then she looked serious. She reached out and stroked his hair.
“Look if you’re not going to the seminar I’ll photocopy my notes for you. You don’t really look like you could learn much this morning!”
Alex smiled. “Thanks Nic, I owe you one.”
“Oh it’s way more than one, don’t think that people aren’t noticing that mornings aren’t your style!”
She kissed his cheek and left him lying, wet and naked, in bed. He rolled over and pulled his duvet into his arms instinctively, embracing it and rubbing his hard cock against it. He realised what he was doing and sighed.
“I need a man.” He whispered.
The past few months had not been easy ones for Alex. Just over a year earlier he had travelled from Australia to England to study abroad for a year, on his path to becoming a fully qualified nurse. He’d decided to go out of restlessness. He loved home, but he’d never strayed far from it. It seemed like an ideal challenge, and a chance to meet a lot of new people. Things however, didn’t go quite as Alex had expected them to. Yes he met a lot of new people, but also, he fell in love with one of them.
Alex is a hot guy, and though he’s usually modest, looking in the mirror he knows why women/gay men want him. In spite of this he hadn’t flaunted himself. Before coming to England he’d had a couple of boyfriends, but he’d never expected that on his first night in a new country on the other side of the world he’d go home with another student, a total stranger to whom due to the noise in the club he had not spoken a word, and fuck him. He’d been drinking, and this guy turned him on like he’d never experienced before. He was strong and toned, but cute with golden hair and big puppy-dog eyes. He was no puppy. It certainly hadn’t been Callum’s intention to do so, but he broke Alex’s heart. It didn’t take long for Alex to fall for his new best friend and fuck buddy, but Callum’s heart belonged to somebody else, in a chain of seemingly unrequited love. Callum was in love with Rob, a man he had dated for several months, but after going to different universities the distance caused them to split.
Callum spent a lot of time with Alex and saw him as a great friend, he had sex with him and many many other men, but his heart never stopped longing for Rob, his first and only love. When it became clear that Rob also still harboured a great affection and love for his ex-boyfriend, Alex was at a loss. As many people in love and particularly unrequited love do, Alex had deluded himself. He slept with Callum almost everyday, doing whatever he could to get to be with him, doing whatever he thought Callum wanted to please the man he wanted so badly. He pretended that during sex, Callum was feeling exactly the same way he was, that he was making love to him. Callum loved Alex there’s no doubt about that, but he saw him as a very close friend, his heart was elsewhere. As the months went on Callum and Alex were spending more and more time together, and more and more nights together, but the way Callum saw Alex never changed. When Alex learned how desperate Rob was to win Callum back, he knew he couldn’t delude himself forever. No matter how painful it was to watch the love of his life walk away, it was also very painful to watch him hurt over the man he wanted. Alex could understand his pain, even if Callum didn’t know it.
And so Alex was lying alone. He’d helped Rob to get Callum back, and now they were both studying in Germany. They lived together, slept together, did everything together and were both very happy. Happy endings always have casualties. Hearing Callum’s chirpy voice on the phone telling of how incredibly happy he was, Alex didn’t know if he loved him, or hated him.
Unsurprisingly Alex had gone back to his home in Perth with a heavy heart, and unfortunately things went from bad to worse for him. Alex’s parents had been through a bitter divorce when he was young, and he grew up with his dad and grew very close to him. His dad supported him in everything he did. He didn’t care that his son was gay, he just wanted him to be happy. When Alex’s dad was tragically killed in a traffic accident only 6 weeks after Alex had returned home, Alex’s world fell apart. For a couple of weeks he became dangerously dependent on alcohol, until his mother picked him up and took him to her house, swearing to start afresh with him and that she would be there for him and everything would be ok. Things didn’t work out. Alex and his mother were simply not used to each other, having had only limited contact with each other for most of Alex’s life. She was not particularly sympathetic about the loss of Alex’s father and not understanding enough of Alex’s pain as she had herself hated the man, and though she had previously known about Alex’s sexuality learning that her son was in love with another man made her incredibly uneasy.
Alex’s friends were, geographically and emotionally, more distant than ever. The only person who made him feel any warmth was Callum as he comforted him over the phone from thousands of miles away. Arguments with his mother became increasingly frequent and fiery until Alex decided enough was enough. He needed a fresh start. He enrolled to spend his last University year in London, to get his work experience there and then stay there to work after graduation. He needed to be somewhere he had friends, but as far away from the house he’d shared with his dad as possible. Away from his mother’s family who told him they were sorry, when they knew neither him nor his father very well at all. He didn’t want pity, he just needed to get away. Deep down he also knew, that the appeal of being only a short flight away from Callum sealed the deal.
So Alex got out of bed and looked in the mirror. He rubbed his red eyes and sighed. ‘I really need a man.’ He thought to himself.
