Online TV Rocks my socks LOL

Fuka_Tivo, online TV really turns me on.

Last week i missed the premiere of Kid Nation because i was watching, Americas Next Top Model", but thanks to online TV i just saw the premiere of Kid Nation ( which i wont be seeing again :( )

The same for Survivor i missed it last week because i had to do a project but i was able to watch it online.

Everything is online, i might have to soon rethink cable. And unlike cable, network shows don't repeat, so the only way to see them again is if you have a Tivo or some other program that records stuff. But why Tivo when its all online :)

And also i was so pumped to see Heroes last night but the cable went and i missed it; but thanks to online TV i was able to watch it today. I missed Prison Break last night too, but i was able to watch it today.

And then last semester i had some evening classes so i would have missed ALOT had it not been for online TV. And its more convenient. You take a study break, watch an episode of Boston Legal and get back to work.

Its TV my way on the online highway lol i just made that up.

Oh and i don't get FX so if it wasn't for online TV i would never have known, the brilliance that is, "Damages."

I also watched season 4 of Rescue Me.

I mean i dont know what i would do without online TV, because there is so much good/fun TV this season and now i wont have to miss it due to scheduling conflicts or work/assignments (!)

Tivo who? LOL

Ok i made a snap judgement, and i might watch Kid Nation again, online. I did laugh a few times and was also moved a few other times. I'd like to see the kids succeed.

Go Red & Yellow district (!) i'll narrow down to one district by the next episode.

Oh my gosh tonight is killer,

Private Practice
Kid Nation
Bionic Woman
Dirty, Sexy, Money
Back To You
Gossip Girl
Americas Next Top Model
CSI: NY

What am i gonna do :(

I have to decide what i want to watch on TV and what i will have to watch online 2morrow or whenever.

Damn it, its like choosing a favorite child :(

ugh, you can stand kid nation? i mean i watched it once and though.. "okay, these are kids give them a break, their first time in the limelight and don't know how to handle the pressure of responsibility and attention," but then it just got old it seemed like all the kids could not really "manage" was the food and the problems i can't really relate to myself.

But other than that i love TV online as well.

I know its so awesome.

Can you link it?

^ Well it depends on what you wanna watch?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~%%%
What am i gonna do at 9 pm :eek: i;m freeking out here,
Bionic Woman vs Gossip Girl vs Private Practice
What do i watch at 9 and what do i watch online another time?
I love Addison but i really liked the GG premiere last week, and BW has buzz :confused:
I gots some thinking to do :( :)
tv-links.co.uk has pretty much everything.
and i find myself watching more stuff online than on my television these days.
I have made up my mind.
I'm going to watch Private Practice. I didn't feel it was fair to give new shows precedence over Addison, who i've loved for 2 seasons :).
So ill just catch GG and BW online (!)
alluc.org
go to the forum you get more current stuff
you have to join to have access to the links
but you don't have to register for the main site
but it's worth it
and if it's on stage6 it's fantastic quality.
OH MY GOSH WHAT THE HELL AM I GONNA DO NOW?
I just went to my online website http://tv-links.co.uk to catch up on TV i missed during the week and :eek:
PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED.
So i did some checking and low and behold someone found out about it and had it closed down permanently.
Isnt the main goal to get your shows watched. Not everyone has cable, not everyone has DVR, and there is just so much good TV that it cant all be watched during the week. Not to mention the nostalgia, no more ALLO ALLO, no more LOVE BOAT :cry:
You know when i first found it months ago i said to myself, this is way too good to be true because it had literally every single show Television had ever aired. And weekly updates of current shows but you could always go and watch cancelled or shows that have ended for some time.
All good things come to an end.
Ah well, i guess TIVO gets the last laugh afterall :(
Here is the article.
Major pirate website shut down
One of the world's most-used pirate film websites has been closed after providing links to illegal versions of major Hollywood hits and TV shows.
The first closure of a major UK-based pirate site was also accompanied by raids and an arrest, the anti-piracy group Federation Against Copyright Theft (Fact) said today.
A 26-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on Thursday in connection with offences relating to the facilitation of copyright infringement on the internet, Fact said.
The arrest and the closure of the site - www.tv-links.co.uk - came during an operation by officers from Gloucestershire County Council trading standards in conjunction with investigators from Fact and Gloucestershire Police.
Fact claims that tv-links.co.uk was providing links to illegal film content that had been camcorder recorded from cinemas and then uploaded to the internet. The site also provided links to TV shows that were being illegally distributed.
Visitors to the site could get access to major feature films, sometimes within days of their initial cinema release. Recent links took users to illegal versions of the Disney/Pixar animation sensation Ratatouille as well as to most of this summer's blockbusters.
"Sites such as TV Links contribute to and profit from copyright infringement by identifying, posting, organising, and indexing links to infringing content found on the internet that users can then view on demand by visiting these illegal sites," said a spokesman for Fact.
The group's director general Kieron Sharp said TV Links was the first major target in a campaign to crackdown on web piracy.
"The theft and distribution of films harms the livelihoods of those working in the UK film industry and in ancillary industries, as well as damaging the economy," he said.
Roger Marles, from Trading Standards said sites such as TV Links allowed people to break UK copyright law.
"The 'users' are potentially evading licence fees, subscription fees to digital services or the cost of purchase or admittance to cinemas to view the films," he added.
The British Video Association estimates that at least £459m was lost to the video, film and TV industries due to piracy in 2006
TV-Links wasn't just for uploading shows, it was also used for full movies, a lot of which were uploaded while they were out in theaters. Major copyright infringement. I loved the site and am gonna miss it, but I'm not surprised it was closed down. I am really surprised it lasted as long as it did though. It was an online pirate's best kept secret.
oh my gosh, SHARETV is now gone too.
PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED since last night :eek:
What the hell is going on, i HAVE TO WATCH DAMAGES.
What am i gonna do :cry:
I wonder if because i started this thread a few weeks back and the people behind the crackdown happen to be gay and are members of JUB, saw this thread and started their investigation.
If that is the case then BlackWolf is to blame for all of this. He is the one that put TV Links on blast in the 7th post.
Notice i just said online TV rocks my socks i never said where i watch TV.
This makes perfect sense, i hope you are happy wolf, this is all your fault. Thanks alot.
