What? Me? Really?
I am unfamilar with the church, but the glee seems a bit inconsistent. Posting a celebratory comment about Notre Dame burning or a mosque being torched in some Christian stronghold would not be greeted as warmly.
Methinks there is a double standard.
One may equivocate all day long about the art value of religious building of yore, but surely the cathedrals of France were the scenes of torture, inspiration to Crusades, and were in fact the origin of The Inquisition.
Celebrating the burning of a group's house of worship is an evil thought, as evil as the imputed flaws of religion. It has the appearance of peevish schoolboys who cannot beat the school system, so piss and moan and grumble about it out back of the gym while smoking.
