Currently, at the end of the week, I have 32 open tabs on my laptop.

And when I see what is open, it gives a very robust snapshot into my personal and professional life. I was think that at my funeral service, they could just open up each page and say 'Ecce Homo'

So how tidy are you?

And would clicking through your tabs provide a snapshot of you as a person?

They don't make Tab anymore, but if they did, I'd only have one open at a time because more than one would risk it going flat before finishing.

No, my tabs would not be a proportionate profile of my life or interests, only one aspect.

My work habits cause me to close any tab not in use. It's WAY too easy for the wrong file to get closed or damaged when left open in Excel, as well as the program itself to become unstsable due to how my corporation uses Excel instead of a proper database.

On my home PC, it's more a matter of do a thing, and move on to the next thing. Again, my work place has proven over and over that very, very few people can actually "multi-task" and do it well. My job requires exactness and focus and involves thousands of people and millions of dollars, so inattention when dealing with budgets and costs, or explaining them, can cause grief when mishandled.

That goes for non-computer life as well. I eschew putting apps or using them on my phone. Cannot count the numbers of seemingly normal people who become social idiot because their idiot phone distracts them with trivia during a conversation. Be human.
