Paris Hilton: The Worst Joke in the Music Industry

paris hilton thought she could sell more than 100,000 or 200,000 copies in its first week of her album release "paris". this album have already flopped in the music industry in its first week of only 75,000 copies. this doesn't really surprise me that her album would do so bad on the billboard. it's been quite evident that her single "stars are blind" have received bad reviews over the past couple of months from critics. we all knew she whispers in her song to make her audience think that she is really singing. trust me guys, her voice is padded down on her tracks so that we all know she can really sing.

the worst thing that can ever ruin her career is when she's made such a big deal out of her new album weeks before it hit store shelves; then her producer told the press that she can't promote tours because she can't sing live. this is what i call a mili vanilli 2006 who doesn't even have the backup of live vocals to sell her albums or save her music career. paris's mtv special was a joke, her album is a joke already, and she's trying to promote a second album. she needs to stick with doing her sex tapes and doing that reality show that is a hell of a lot popular than her music for sure.

the album is ok. its no worse than most of the other pop albums out there... its more listenable than a jessica simpson album. I bet there are a lot of pop stars out there that wouldn't be able to perform live very well.... Milli Vanilli didn't sing on their album at all.

But yeah, considering she's pretty much nothing but the punch line to every dumb blonde joke, 75,000 isn't that bad. 200,000 would be impossible. Unless they have record stores in homes for the mentally disabled.

75,000 in sales in the first week for a new artist is not bad at all, and they are projecting she will sell 30,000+ in the second week! Those numbers are similar to both Nick Lachey's and JC Chasez first solo album sales! Paris well be out with a second and better album by next years end!!!

Personally, I'm waitin' for Nicole Richie's debut album. She has music in her genes and grew up in the industry.

Yes, what I've been saying is that what the world really needs is an album by the adopted daughter of the guy who brought the world "Ballarina Girl" and "Penny Lover".

Most of the music in the pop world has sucked lately. I'm just waiting for the next big thing to happen. Except for Christina & Justin, pop music has been in quite a slump lately.
