Seriously I love Paris, but I don't understand why she continues to come out with these lame ass cheap five dollar looking music video's when she has all the money in the world and can afford the best directors!!! And Turn it Up, Fightin Over Me, Screwed, and especially Jealousy would have made way better singles and helped with the poor album sales!! Jealousy with the right director and done right could have created more controversy with the whole Nicole Feud thing! I'm just hoping that when Nicole releases her ablum she does a better job, and I think she will since she grew up around musicians and seems more gifted as a singer! I can't wait for Nicole's album and Season Five Of The Simple Life..I heard they are going to Europe this time and of course they will be back together again!!!LOVES IT!!!!!!!!(!)
 
I find this video funny because we all know that she'd drop the kid on her arm ina heartbeat once she saw that jackass who was bullying him and probably have sex with him in the cafeteria.

Dare to dream? WTF? Who is she to tell anyone to dare to dream when everything she's even thought about was at her disposal? Dare to dream...please. If she had to work for anything in her life and aspire towards anything that wasn't a whim, maybe this song would have a shred of believability.

And by the way, so this kid...a) is a loser, right? b) isn't academically descent c) isn't athletically qualified and d) spends all his time dreaming about Paris Hilton and how he can impress everyone and apparently never applies himself at anything. Fantastic. He's like Paris, only without the rediculous amounts of money. Yeah, keep dreaming kid. That'll get you everywhere!
 
Funny thing is if you look at kuja's avater, even though its a bit abstract, if you look hard enough you can see Paris's image emrge from it, anaylse the meaning for yourself lol.

Paris keep doing your thing, "Dare to Dream" is a great message to share with the youth of the world.

I didn't even really get how 'Dare to Dream' even amde sense with her song.. she kept talking about how she was better than some other girl.
 
It's sad when you hear a song and go "Hey, that's Max Martin And Luke Gottwald." Why are they always trying to recreate "Since U Been Gone" it didn't work for Broke Straight Boys, it didn't work for The Veronicas, it didn't work for Pink, it's not gonna work for Paris.

As for Paris, I'll keep my mouth shut about her.

That's a little harsh, don't you think? I'm not going to claim that Paris Hilton is the nicest person or the best to give advice, but the SONG is cute. After all, the point of music is to enjoy the song and have something nice to listen to. There are way worse songs out there.

And as for blonde role models: I can think of that are far more worthy of that vomit than Paris. Hint, her name rhymes with Fadonna.

The video is not entirely matched with the song, but there are plenty of videos that tell different stories than the songs playing in them.

One possible explanation is that the video is HIS interpretation of the song. He is obviously a fan of hers and he could be wishing that Paris was singing the song to him since his life is not that great. Maybe he dreams that even though he's nothing but a "loser" in the eyes of most people, that maybe someone would pick him or want to be with him.

I know that I have had those moments. Seeing someone I liked and just imagining what it would be like to have them like me back the same way. And even not matching up, the message to dream is not a bad one at all. :-)

Ok, I'm going to dream about Jensen Ackles now :kiss:
 
When I first saw Elisha Cuthbert(?) I was pretty stoked about seeing her in the video but then she was only in it for a hot minute but I still liked the video.
 
Eh, any video that has a smarmy trite thing like "sometimes a dreamer is a loser...dare to dream" as its message and furthermore needs to spell it out by beating its viewers over the head with it is, well, crap to me.

But I really wasn't expecting much out of her anyway, so ::shrug::

And the kid really doesn't have much that seems endearing. He just seems like a 14 year-old Kevin Federline. Maybe the video's purpose is to inspire future Kevin Federlines of the world to just sit on their asses and never change their situation because it's okay to 'dare to dream' and not do shit to reach that dream.
 
Well I don't particularily hate the song or Paris...there's nothing really that bad compared to anything else that's out there (the only thing that's different is that it's Paris "singing" and everyone hates Paris for a whole bunch of valid reasons, lol).

But is this her trying to be risque by having a really young boy in the video?

I caught a song on the radio and kind of liked it, was surprised to learn that the song I liked was Paris Hilton's second song....and I dug the first song. Dont care if her album bombed or of her slutty/dumb blonde image...its the song I like...and musically I like anything with a cool beat, even if its bubble gum pop...I never undertood why people get so up in arms over stuff like this, either you lke it or you dont...I dont understand how you can have such strong feelings about something so simple as a song.
