And I have always loved this episode of "Friday Night Videos", The Christmas Sprecial with Pebbles and Whitney Houston hosting. They are so cute and funny together with good chemistry. Glad they are still friends!

Actually, according to TLC themselves, Pebbles wasn't listening to their concerns and not keeping them in the loop about offers that were coming in. She would just decide herself whether or not they were good ideas, without running anything by them.

Contractually, she had them signed to a confining deal that basically allowed her ownership over the group and an automatic percentage of every profit the group made...even those that didn't involve her workmanship. However, they didn't go bankrupt solely because of her. They were also signed to a cheap record deal that didn't allot them much of a profit.

In the meantime, however, nobody told Lisa to play Backdraft with Andre Risen's house, which put her (and subsequently the group) into a legal huge debt that she couldn't pay.

Pebbles didn't mishandle their funds, she simply had her hands in every profit pot. Between that, and their cheap record deal, they wound up not making any real money. However, *they* were the one's who signed the contracts. It was all legal. All laid out for them from the getgo. They either didn't bother to read it, or didn't care.
