Was watching tv the other night and saw a large woman complaining about how guys with small dicks are a huge turn off, and the first thing i thought was - u can't really afford to be picky. Yeah i know that was shallow of me but that's not the point. it got me thinking and i started wondering:


Why is it acceptable to complain and ridicule guys with smaller cocks yet it's taboo to do the same with people who are overweight?it might sound stupid and insensitive at first, but think about it:

- people have more control over their weight than they do the size of their wangs.

- it can't be because it's a sensitive issue because i'm sure penis size causes just as much grief as their weight.


Maybe it's the fact that a small schlong can be hidden but a fat body can't.


I'm not saying that we should be able to complain about someone's weight, i just think it's silly that it's acceptable to ridicule someone over something they have no control over
 
i agree!! the thing is though ti shouldnt really matetr what th esize is of your cock because the size wont kill you! but with fat people that can kill!
 
Your topic brushes over a much more broader issue. Human nature is hypocritical. People love to ridicule others and oversight their own faults. In fact, its very common for people to create a double standard for the very same thing they are at fault for towards another person.

Individually, it is up to us to fight our nature. By making an effort to understand the implications of what we say and do, the world can be a better place; one person at a time.
 
I am overwight or fat and my cock size is ablut 6.5 inches. I love muscles, hair and all that, but that is just eye candy. It is what inside that counts to me anyway.

Weight is not as controllable as you think. Just ask someone who has a weight problem. Some people have higher metabolisms and others have slower ones. I for one have a slow one and have always been on the heavy side. I have friends that if I ate nearly as much as them I would be hospitalized for being so large. Yes I will agree there are some who just eat to much and a to much junk..but thats not always the case. Look at all the people who get their stomachs stapled. They only can eat 1 ounce of liquid at a time for a month and then after that I can guarantee they eat way less then you. Yet over time they never to get “normal weight”. They get close but many never can get that low. So....fat people don't always have a choice. Some people are different.

Basically, most jaded people are jaded for a reason. A that reason is really themselves. You can't really feel responsible for the faults of the others but you do, for your own.

Now, it takes quite a bit of guts to say, 'I am the way I am, and coz of that, I do not get the first choice on the meat market'. It is so much easier to say, 'the guys, I end up with aren't the big-dicked top model material, I have been daydreaming about.

I agree that you can control your weight to a limited extent only. I do not think that you can really control the length of your best friend at all, for that matter. So, what really matters is, how hard you try and how good you present yourself.

This topic is so much bigger than penis size and weight. I'll try not to take it too broad and simply say that I agree with SC - you gotta check yourself.

Left over from when I thought that anyone thinking I might be gay was the end of the world, I have a tendency to make snap judgements on guys who do things that are stereotypically gay. It started as just projection - not liking others for what I feared in myself. It's still in there though - so I have to watch out for it and remind myself to give people a chance. I can't stop the next guy from being ignorant, but I certainly can stop myself.
 
Personally speaking ; I am overweight ... fought with it all of my life. I've been on every diet you can think of with no satisfactory results .. I was 350 at one time ; but thank God, I've managed to get myself to 245 ....
I believe that anyone who makes fun of someone else for whatever the reason is nothing more than an imature jerk who has issues that he cannot face himself ; so to make himself feel better, he has to belittle another person .
Speaking of Penis size ; I myself am very well endowed and pleased with what the Good Lord gave me to some extent ... however; I prefer my guys to be smaller in size lie from 4-5 1/2 insches is just fine ....

In some cases, people are obese because of hypothyroidism which results in a very slow metabolism. This however is extremely rare when looking at North America's population, which has an extremely high obesity rate compared to much of the rest of the world. That many people do not have hypothyroidism. The vast, vast majority simply eat too much and exercise too little.

I know that there are people out there who have a valid reason for being obese, but in my opinion that excuse is thrown around too much.

Same here. I don't just SAY that I'm not too into looks, I actually mean it. I really love someone for their mind and personality, moreso their looks. Looks are an added bonus. People won't stay hot forever, so don't go there to begin with.

Sadly God gave me three inches and thats what I have to deal with in life, even if I decided to lose about 100 pounds my dick size will increase what an extra half an inch. I've had tons of guys put me down on my size, but you know what, karma comes around to bite one in the ass, and I'll be glad to know when it happens to all the people who put down guys because of their weight or cock size.

Its rude for people to make fun of those that can't help lose weight, either its hard for them or they are happy that way. i am always being teased for being skinny and it really pisses me off. They (well most of them) wouldn't tease someone who was overweight so don't mock me for being underweight. I'm on a high calorie diet with disgusting shakes but progress is slow. :mad: rant over :D

I don't know where you are where overweight people are lessed teased, but where I am in California a lot of overweight people are put down a lot, some of them have very bad self esteem issues as well. Its not easy living in a state that has good looking men with six pack abs.
 
Frankly, I think this issue has more to do with the annoying trend that it's allright to demean and laugh at men. Men are consistently being portrayed as not too bright, sports obsesed and incapable of any descrimination when it comes to women. OR, they're mean manipulative bastards who aren't worthy of compasion. Or they're befuddled morons incapable of understanding the higher brain functions of their wives and teenaged kids.

If a woman were presented in this way on prime time TV there would be a letter writting camapign and every woman in the country would be threatening a boycott of the network. How many laughs would a male comedian get for complaining his girlfriend's vagina was so loose..... Yet female comedians bring down the house laughing at a man's dick size.

Frankly I think we need to all take a pill and see a joke for a joke...AND also know when the joke isen't funny anymore. It's about respect.
