Don't know if anyone knows how or if it can be done. I have an animated GIF that is nice that i've tacked on the end of a slide. it's an animated blue butterfly. I've inserted that into my presentation, but then i thought wouldn't it be nice if i could make the animated GIF look like a the butterfly i've got a presentation on? so i have photos of the real butterfly, but I'm wondering if i can apply the color patter from it to the wings of the animated GIF?

there are a couple animated GIFs i could use:
1. http://www.hosanna1.com/Mysamples/img71.gif
2. http://www.fullfreestuff.com/free-g...utterfly/animated dandilion big butterfly.gif
3. http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq166/emilymodrell/butterfly-animated.gif

my presentation is due tuesday so this might be way more trouble than it's worth. but if anyone has any thoughts or if anyone wants to tackle it for me that would be cool. :)

I do have PS CS2, but i'm not all that functional with it.

thanks in advance if anyone takes a shot at it!

there are several real butterfly photos, any of which would work to replace the wing pattern on the animated ones.

It can take many, many hours to make even simple animated gifs. I doubt that you could do this by Tuesday's presentation. It would take a whole lot of cropping, skewing, layering, and a pile of other stuff as well.

If you decide to use this, it will cost you.

You’ll have to take down your Xmas decorations (avatar). It’s February, you know? ;)

Aww......come on.....it's a TARDIS with X-Mas lights! How cool is that?!
You are right though, it is February. Maybe it is an early decoration for July 4th....... ;)
