Hey guys! I decided to create a thread specifically for PS users on JUB. If you want more to discuss than just PS systems, I'm also a member of a thread called "Gay Gamers Unite!". Anyway, to start things off, I'll ask everyone what kinds of PS systems you own & what your favorite game for it is. ..|

I own a 80GB 2nd generation PS3 and now currently own a 320GB PS3 Slim Uncharted 3 bundle. I don't really know what are my favorite games but I know that I enjoy playing GTA IV it was the first game I purchased for my PS3.

80gb 2nd generation. I got in just before they announced the newer slimmer version...

...not sure I have a favourite game but I like hack and slash - Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden...

GTA 4 was one of my first games as well. I've always been a huge fan of the GTA series, but I was totally blown away when I first played part 4. The way that they revamped the entire feel of the game made it more realistic, not to mention the makeover that Liberty City received. Instead of a whole city feeling like a suburb (Like in GTA 3), they made it feel like New York. (Which I assume is what they were going for what with the statue of happiness, rhotterdam tower, ect) Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE GTA 3 and on, but bigger is always better! DMC is a good series. Can't say I've ever heard of Hack'n'Slash though. lol It sounds fun enough! Might have to see what that's all about. ;)

Anybody ever play Heavy Rain? Fallout? Elder Scrolls (Oblivion/Skyrim)? I really like the progressive steps Bethesda has taken with Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim. Before in Oblivion and Fallout 3, You could only flirt with or be in a relationship with the opposite sex. No more! In New Vegas, you can flirt with the same sex after selecting the confirmed bachelor perk when you level up. (It's some french caption for the lesbian perk that I can't remember right now, but they're in there too! lol) They took it even further with Skyrim as you can not only flirt with the same sex, but marry them and have them live with you! You can make it to where you have a stay at home spouse, or they can travel with you as you slay dragons and pillage villages. (Not recommend unless you're really good at protecting them) The only draw back to Skyrims marriage system is that there is only one way to get a divorce....yep...you guessed it. So before you make that final decision, make sure that it is indeed final. My preferred method would be to take them to the top of a high peak or cliff and shout them off. It's fun watching them fall into the swirling icy fog below. I'm not a bad person,...really. Anyway there's no perk or anything like that in Skyrim. All you need is to purchase a necklace of Mara (Most commonly found in Riftens chapel) and put it on. After you put it on, characters will start to react to your open invitation for marriage and won't be shy about it. Nords get right to brass tax! You can literally walk up to a character that you've never spoken with before, (With necklace on) and they will marry you on the spot. Talk about a bunch of desperados! Anyway, I salute Bethesda for their forward thinking! Now if only more game companies would follow suit.

Star Wars Battlefront 3

Seriously, has anyone heard anything about Star Wars Battlefront 3? I'd heard about a year ago that they were 97% done with it and had to scrap it because one of the companies designing the game bottomed out or something. Here recently, (about three months ago) I'd heard that the game was picked back up. I don't know what to believe, so if anyone could give any info that they've seen or heard, that would be awesome! It's been a long time coming! If it does turn out that they really are going to release it, I hope they bring back the Death Star for use in galactic conquest. Oooo! Massive online wars! I watched a video about it right after they dropped it and they also mentioned actually being able to fight on the planet, get in a vehicle, and venture into a battle in space! How fucking awesome would that be?! They should really give you the ability to destroy capital ships (Star Destroyers, ect.) after they've taken critical damage.

I liked when they transition GTA 2 and made it 3D on the third game. It was the only reason I wanted a PS2 was to play GTA 3, then when the other GTA games came out I could see why GTA San Andreas was the favorite out of the series because of how big it was, and how awesome the game was. I loved GTA Vice City because of the 80's music but other then that the map seemed sort of flat and boring not as great as San Andreas and the mountain and the freeway leading to San Fierro and Las Venturas.

I am not disappointed that GTA V will just be Los Santos because I really enjoy that area the most but will definitely miss the redneck areas just hope that there is just a small redneck town outside of Los Santos when you are heading towards the wind mills and that huge mountain.

Anybody ever play Heavy Rain?

I have played Heavy Rain I liked it but playing it once was GOOD enough I can't believe I had to sit through viewing all 18 endings just to get a damn trophy. The game seemed unique at first I felt sorry for some of the characters it was the one video game that I actually had feelings towards the characters because the acting and graphics looked amazing. Other then people complaining about the game and it almost being just one giant movie with QTE bullshit added to it. I had enough of that bullshit on Shenmue speaking of that I heard they were going to release Shenmue I and II on PSN and Live. Would be a good time playing the game but don't think I could stand all that crap with the button smashing towards the end.

I have heard NOTHING about Star Wars Battlefront 3 just saw footage of it being made and how it had all these cool features like where you can be on a planet hop into a ship and just fly into space no loading at all. I've loved the first two games and still play them on single player not sure if they still have the games online. I remember playing online and it always pissed me off because the people on there glitched, lagged and some probably even cheated as well.

The last I heard was that they scrapped the entire game because the studio went out of business or some shit unless they are under a new company that is remaking the game. I would definitely buy a Battlefront 3/

Re: Star Wars Battlefront 3

Yeah GamerBear, I agree with you on the GTA V rural thing. I'd like to see a little bit of country on the outskirts again. It really gave me the Texas chainsaw massacre when I was out in those areas. lol I wish the GTA series would become more progressive like Bethesda so you could choose weather your character was gay or not. Maybe pick up some male prostitutes. lol

If you're a fan of Fallout: New Vegas, then I think you'll find this video entertaining. :=D:

Eighteen endings for Heavy Rain?!! Holy shit! :bartshock

It was cool to see that many different endings and seeing some of the characters die from stupid mistakes but after a while trying to do all that was getting annoying.

Lol. Boone certainly has some moves. New Vegas was cool despite of the bugs it was crawling at launch. I liked that i could talk my way through the final fight.

I agree that GTA should include the rural/redneck areas if its setting is around San Andreas.

I think the funny part was whenever I was in Angel Pine, near Mount Chiliad. I would hop into an old looking truck and K-Rose was always playing on the radio. It was like that was the default station in the area.

PS3 120GB slim model. My favorite PS3 games are probably Final Fantasy XIII, Super Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter x Tekken.

I like too many games, however, so it is difficult to only pick a few! I love collecting trophies for every game I play. :gogirl:

I've had a 320 GB slim for less than a year; my favourite games on it so far have been Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. Patiently anticipating The Last Guardian...
