Honestly I'll wait. Even for a year or more. The launch title games for the PS3 don't look too good anyway, but even buy a PS3 for $2,000+ freakin' dollars if you don't like any of its games?!? I'll wait 'til something good comes, like Final Fantasy XIII or Resident Evil 5. Thanks.

I heard about a shooting the night before they were released on the new (around Sacramento) where a Game Stop was robbed at gun point and all the PS3 were stolen...pathetic...I am sure that a few of the consoles on ebay are from that store....

Personally I wouldn't pat the $600 retail price for it (or any game console) let alone what they are asking on ebay.

Not only were all the PS3's stolen but all the Wii's as well!

I just had a look on ebay and some UK muppet has just bought one for $1500 says its in the uk but further down ships from hong kong. UK Customs are destroying any that come in. It's not a risk I would take!

There are people that there are 'fake' accounts running around on ebay, purposely upping the bid to fuck the sellers over.

This is true - my sister's ex bought the PS2 off ebay a couple of years back only to find that all he'd bought was a link to a website that sells them and paid £120 for it.
