A couple years ago, a local church broke off the church house where the pastor used to live and sold it to me after the pastor died of old age. It's directly connected to the church parking lot on one side. I own a piece of the parking lot. So I've been parking my trailers and equipments there.

So, a couple nights ago, I got a great idea. I can put a big sign on one of the cargo trailers and have it parked next to the church. The sign would say

something something adult entertainment

Or something like

gay male strippers...

Or something like that. Have the trailer parked next to the church the entire winter LOL.

The logical side of me is telling me leave the church alone. The little kid in me is telling me to go ahead with it it will be funny.

Who to listen to?

Yeah, I've been pretty bored.

Also, check the sale agreement. Often, when churches decommission and sell off property, they include some sort of covenant in the contract limiting the uses to which the property can be put in future.

Hehe ok thank you guys. My urge is subsiding. I've been chuckling all day at the idea. But you are absolutely right, I shouldn't be looking for trouble. You guys are my conscience.

About this church. Me and them go way back. About 2 years ago, my tenant there came home from work and almost drove into a hole the size of his car in the driveway. Turned out the church had a water leak and their contractor decided to dig to look for the leak. Dug right thru the driveway. When they finished, they left a big hole in my driveway.

It took them 3 days to cover the hole up with gravel. They told me they would eventually put asphalt back in.

A year later, it was still gravel. After many attempts at reaching somebody about this, I finally had my lawyer try to get to them. They came back and said they will put it to a vote in the next church meeting.

I was like "I don't understand, what's there to vote about? You guys dug out my driveway, you put it back."

Anyway, 2 months after they finally put in a new asphalt driveway for me.

Here's a picture of when it was graveled. Imagine the hole without gravel about 4 feet deep. My tenant said he almost drove right into it after work.

In most churches a vote is needed by a board to allocate funds for any type of an expenditure.
