Poll: Cut or Uncut?

I'd like to know once and for all if I'm out in left field or if the field is actually evenly divided.

I will admit to preferring the trimmed over the au naturel version of the happy-go-lucky wang that we all know and love. No, this is not a religion-based preference. Yes, I myself am cut. I may be dating myself here, but I believe that circumcision was standard operating procedure for male newborns up until, say, the 70's in most hospitals.

I gotta say, though, that I just do not dig gettting a mouthful of flabby-feeling foreskin when I'm prepped for a gradually thickening shaft and bulby head. Obviously, I wouldn't kick anybody out of bed for having a permanent hoodie if I already thought he was wonderful, gorgeous or sweeter than marzipan. And I've never deselected dates on any +/- foreskin system. I just really do not like the feel of foreskin in my mouth.

Am I out of line , or what?

You are imviting Jubbers to read this thread under false pretences. For a start, where is the poll? My initial thought was, "eM will be pleased!" Then the rant started. To each his own.

Had you appraoched the subject in a more objective, non-emotive way, I may have wished to had discourse with you. Now I have no desire for that discourse, or any other form of intercourse.

i used to think that mandatory snipping was a misguided but well intentioned late 19th cen. public health initiative aimed at curtailing venereal disease. it was started in Britain and advocated by no less a physician than the legendary Sir William Osler.

however, i was both shocked and furious when I learned its real intention was to preserve the character of young empire builders by stopping them from engaging in morally degrading acts of self-gratification! America, which at that time was itching to assume its portion of the White Man's Burden, was quick to adopt it.

As the sun set on Britannia's empire so too did mandatory practice of this barbaric procedure recede in Albion. Perhaps the comeuppance the U.S. is currently receiving in Iraq will have a similar salutary effect on this absurd standard of care.

The prepuce is there for a reason: it protects a highly sensitive part of the anatomy. Think about it: not having a foreskin is like having a tongue without a mouth to moisten and protect it. sooner or later sensation must suffer.

I have seen the procedure performed on newborns and trust me it's not as painless as practitioners would give you to believe. Most of those guys are bawling their heads off! What a thing to have done to you on your second or third day of life! Short of rape, it is the most profound violation of person I can imagine! I think as a culture we may suffer from a case of collective castration anxiety!

IF there was a poll, i would have to agree with vox. i prefer a cut dick but am ambivalent as to the custom-- either religious or personal.

I greatly prefer uncut dicks. They look better to me, are more fun to play with, are smoother on my tongue and are just kinda hot.

Wow. I hadn't realized how emotionally attached guys are to their foreskins. IMO, a couple of you are politicizing what for me was an aesthetic or personal taste question.

I am genuinely not interested in arguments regarding genital integrity or possible human rights violations or the pain inflicted by circumcision. I am also not interested in invalidating any of those arguments. I was only curious about two things: If men stated any preference for cut or uncut; and If that preference might be tied to generational differences (which I suspect is the case).

Finally, if I knew how to post an actual polling device, I would have done so.

I'm only a newbie here and still finding my way around the JUB site. As a matter of interest, I tried to find out how to create a Poll, and despite spending an age surfing the site, there doesn't seem to be any instructions. The site FAQ was an obvious starting point, but there's nothing there about this.
