The movie was terrible in my opinion. Poor acting. Poor plot direction. Laughable dialogue. And quite possibly the most annoying child actor to date.

And the movie may not have had gay stereotypes but it sure as hell had racial stereotypes. TWO Latino serviceworkers? Their fate was sealed.

"Shake the filthy illegal immigrant off your leg or you'll die!"

The ONLY saving graces for this movie was the death of Fergie (how the fuck did she get into the movie?!) and the special effects.
 
I liked Poseidon. I bought it on dvd. Mike Vogel is hotter than hell.

i liked the originals storyline and acting better, but the new one is still good to just sit down and watch to enjoy
 
I can't really remember the original film. But I do remember that I like the remake. Just the presence of Mike Vogel, a clean cut Freddy Rodriguez and Josh Lucas make it an instant classic. A Winner! Plus Fergie sings! And did I mention the HOT male cast. And the sfx are v. spectacular.
