I am seeing this guy, almost ready to take it to the next level, however I have some concerns. I feel like he is taking steroids. My reasoning for this is first he works out a lot and though he's not extremely big he's big. For his age which I'm not going to divulge, his sex drive is way overactive. I am a young guy and I can barely keep up with him. His testicles are almost non existant. Also he has an empty prescriptipn bottle perscribed from out of state, anastozole, a drug used by steroid users so they don't get breasts, and it also increases testosterone levels, prescribed back in February this year. Last night before bed he had me rub his back with rubbing alcohol, he was covered with acne. Someone his age should not be having acne. Any input? He doesn't have a mean streak in him which I thought was common. Should I confront him? I have asked him if he uses steroids and he denied it.

hmm the way you describe it, it sounds a lot as if he is using steroids. did you ask him about that empty bottle?

i guess this is more a relationship issue, then a health issue. well it is health, but lying is a different thing that you should be more concerned about at this point ..

Well I can see it like that, but also there is a trust issue here. Should i really have looked through his medications? They aren't in a cabinet they are on his dresser. He is very private like he won't let me touch his phone, and he appologizes if he accidently touches my phone...

If they are ON his dresser, I don't see the problem there. If you actually went to his cabinet, yeah - you have other issues as well ;)

What should I say? I don't know how to go about doing this...

you could just be honest and up front, which is a great start to a relationship.

"look, things are getting serious and I think that's great but before we move on there's something I need to know"

just have your reactions and feelings about it sorted before you ask. If it's a deal breaker be ready for that. If it's not be prepared for that.

I workout with alot of guys on steroids or gym candy or what ever you want to call it and I'm very big myself. If he's on anastozole its an estrogen blocker, so hes taking some other usually injectable test which is why his testicles are small. Hes adding some much test that it shut his testicles down so they do shrink. Alot of the steroids that guys get is from eastern europe so you never know what your actually getting. He will probelby lose all sex drive eventually. Just ask him str8 up or ask him what he does to get like he is.

well i confronted him and he finally admited it after long conversation, where do I go from here

where do you wanna go with it? you can stay and try to help him or you can leave him alone. its up tp you.

Ask him why he feels the need to take steroids. Is it solely based on physical gain? is he emotionally attached to them?

common long term side effect include harmful changes in cholesterol levels (increased low-density lipoprotein and decreased high-density lipoprotein), acne, high blood pressure, liver damage (only in the case of oral steroids), and dangerous changes in the structure of the left ventricle of the heart. So yeah sounds like ROIDS to me

He's got all the signs.

But this is about you, not him. Let's say that he's taking steriods. What does that mean for you? How does it change things?
