Hello,

I have a question that I have that is unique. I have gone to the doctor before but even after a ton of tests nothing has come back.

I have a weird condition where I sometimes will pre-ejaculate (precum) quite a bit. It isn't a problem until it ends up drying on the tip of my penis. This can cause it to block my urethra and basically glue the opening shut.

Resolving it is no problem though, it just takes a little water on my finger or tissue and 1 or 2 dabs and it is all gone. Though, i also end up with a little red mark/irritated skin around my meatus. I believe it is due to the same issue.

I am frisky quite a bit, so I do end up pre-ejaculating quite a bit. This condition also happens at night.

My doctor looked at it and had absolutely no clue. Tested me for all of the STD's and everything came out clear.

With the readness around my meatus, I generally do masturbate without using lotion and I am cut. I am guessing this could also be causing wear and tear which is also causing the redness. I have used lotion, but it doesn't really seem to help as I think it is irritated.

Anyone have any suggestions or possibly have gone through the same thing? I would be curious to see what others think.
 
Are you ejaculating enough? If you are getting aroused, pre-cumming and not ejaculating, this could be why.
When you pre-cum alot, you don't usually need lube, but lotion is really a very poor lube. Try a lube meant especially for the task.
 
I've had this happen since puberty and I'm almost 50 now. it's absolutely nothing to worry about. I pre cum a lot and if I don't urinate prior to going to bed this exact situation happens. I'll be honest, when it happens (and it does 2 or 3 times a week) I sit down to urinate so when the urine stream comes out it doesn't spray in an unwanted direction. this seems to clear up the issue and I go about my day. I don't think you have a thing to worry about

Thank you both for the information!

I have switched to a better lube to hopefully help in the future and also been putting some cream on it that is helping with the redness.

I am afraid I am with you Georgiadude that it is just something that I am going to have to live with. The Dr said it wasn't anything bad but wasn't really sure to do with it.

you're welcome. try urinating after you pre cum or actually cum. the urine will clear most of the pre cum and cum from the urethra and there will be less of it to dry over the meatus. I know this is a nuisance but it's not anything to worry about.

It sounds like you just have a lot of thick pre-cum that gets dried out - interesting. If it is attendable, can be resolved without major complications as you've read, I don't think of it as a big problem. Just keep doing the water on your finger and dab it off as you have done.
 
I'm the same. Same problem with my urethra being glued shut and sometimes it can feel like a needle if I don't clear it and I start to pee. Also need to sit down on the toilet in case my urine sprays everywhere or shoots out at an unpredictable angle.
