Just probing the general state of opinion.

Were her hair not so terrible there, I might have chosen this one:

The other one is so much... "Her".

She looks like she's going for a Mona Lisa vibe in the first one. That second one is so 80's. Was she in a John Hughes movie?

Either way who cares. Her hair stopped growing a long time ago.

There is no myth about Diana. She was one of the most photographed and documented people on Earth.

^ No myth, but a legend, like says the vandalizing graffiti I saw yesterday in a report from the Pont de l'Alma. Actually, the Princess of the People is it all: legend, myth and even a ghost, (as your comment would seem to imply) haunting every fucking event, dress, jewel, fashion choice, in-law or mere relative orbiting The Krown today.

I like her---I mean she suffered what all girls suffer from--meeting a prince and said prince being in love with her forever---her embracing AIDS patients and charity work make her a legend. Watching a good doc on CNN about her family line. Learning about her drama filled family.

Dear cousin Diana. Wish she could have found a happy marriage, but at least she got joy from her children and helping people.

I like that she seemed like an outsider like she was just as sick of the royal sham as the rest of us.

What do Pink Floyd and Princess Diana have in common?

Never mind. :(

tempus fugit.

and sic transit gloria mundi.

At a time in my life, I was in a treatment center for troubled teens. I had tried to kill myself three times.

Chuck and Diana's wedding was at 2 a.m. and we had asked the staff if we could stay up and watch the Royal Wedding but they said "no".

Personally, I never liked the term "England's Rose" or "the People's Princess"

All these years and I have never heard people criticize her for not wearing a seatbelt, which I think is a valid point. Its partly her own fault that she's dead.

Diana's bodyguard has said she would be wearing a seatbelt if he had been in the car with her.

She was a very beautiful woman and I can see how she lived out the dream that so many young girls had in marrying a prince. Charles isnt quite the picture of a Prince I would have wanted. Before his recent dealings with Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew would have filled the role of the handsome Prince more than Charles did.

For her to know Charles was googley over Camilla on her wedding day and the plates were printed and there is no turning back, how many of us would have gone through with the wedding

She died 25 years ago, on August 31st.

My sister called me to let me know what happened

The style and glamour of Diana basically came from herself, her physique and character: her British-designed outfits were UTTER CRAP, but they were tailored to suit her well. She didn't have truly iconic moments for style until she started being dressed by REAL [Continental] designers. Until then, she merely had bozo "iconic" moments: that "Elvis" thing... :vomit: :vomit:

If this woman was indeed pure of both heart and soul, you are reducing her to a Barbie doll complete with a bag of matching outfits. :vomit:

Let's not dwell on her death and beatification. Listen to the definitive account of that jolly day off we all had in 1981 from The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 ¾. The wedding day starts at 13:36.
