im hoping someone can give me some advice my groin will not stop itching. My scrotum is swollen and red. No matter what I put on it it burns. Now the left side of my face is the same way. The only thing that helps is putting ice on it. I haven't been sexually active for about 3 maybe 4 months could this have something to do with it? I can't go to the doctor yet they are not seeing people yet. I don't know what to do.

You need to see a doctor. This is likely to be something that cannot be treated with over-the-counter treatments. If your face and scrotum is red and swollen, you will need to have tests done.

If you cannot get an appointment with a primary care doctor on Monday or Tuesday, you need to got to an urgent care and have it examined.

Going to the doctor is not an option right now. Urgent care is not seeing anyone for minor problems like this because of covid

I don't know how it is in the US, but here I believe GPs are routinely seeing patients via video. I think they will then see someone in the flesh if they assess it to be necessary.

Here in the us doctors are seeing patients but they are taking ppe steps checking temp asking if you've traveled feel sick (cold or fluish symptoms) etc. Thats how I went to see about my problem a couple threads ago.

That's what I've seen, too. Many clinics have someone outside the clinic or in the lobby who is screening patients. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, they either have you wait in your car or they immediately take you back to an exam room so that you don't expose patients in the waiting area.

Many US doctors in primary care are having to layoff staff because patients are not coming to the office for fear of getting COVID-19. They have started offering video and phone visits to their established patients. Urgent cares also want their regular patients to return because clinic income is down.

I haven't heard of any doctor in primary care who is not seeing established patients. The word that I've heard from urgent cares is that they want non-COVID patients to start coming back to their clinics.

Did you ever get it checked out? What was it just an allergic reaction, something that came and went?

I' glad you were able to get in to see the doctor.

Did you know that you had diabetes or was this newly diagnosed?
