Hi everyone. I have a few questions about anal sex/anal play.

I've never had anal sex with anyone before, and I'm only just starting to play with myself by sticking things up there. Right now I'm only using a sharpie, going a bit deeper each time.

However, I'm kind of worried. I don't have any actual lubricant, I only have my own spit to use. That seems to work just fine, I just can't go up and down on it really fast or anything.

Now, when I first started, after about 2-3 inches in it started to feel really weird like I couldn't go any further so I stopped there. But the other day I just kept sliding down on it almost to the bottom. When I pulled it out, there was what I think was a little bit of blood on it. Am I going to hurt myself by doing this? What do you think happened when "blood" came out on the sharpie? Keep in mind it was only a little bit and wasn't like runny or anything it was like it was snot, but light red.

Or even Sharpie yourself in the tub and use shampoo as lube. Using spit when you're still a novice seems painful.

Thanks for the response. But what if I accidentally go too far in? I'm afraid that from even just slowly easing in that I might cause an internal injury and start bleeding/have to go to the hospital.

Pretty unlikely. You'll feel it if you start to hurt anything. A sharpie will get lost up there. The rectum is larger than you think, and don't forget that there IS mucus in there that can have color to it.

I put the sharpie in a glove finger and hold onto the glove and I don't ever go all the way in with it.

What toy do you recommend? I want one that isn't going to get lost up there, is not very thick, but is flexible/not very stiff. & What kind of lube would you recommend for this? I want something that's safe to go in there, and easy to clean up. Speaking of that, with spit, I always just dry / wipe the outside of my hole with a towel to get it dry. In general, you should not put anything in your ass that was not design to go up in there. With that said, I have stuck lots of objects up my ass. My favorite was a shovel handle because it has a larger girth than a broomstick. Just put a condom on it and started fucking myself with it.

You will know when you go too far. There will be a sharp pain. Of course, there is the possibility the object can get lost up inside you too.
