The Survivor Series begins tonight on CBS.

The "tribes" and or "groups" will be divided along Racian Lines.

Any opinions?

as the local village idiot. i never watch the show but i think this is one of the most offensive things I have ever heard of. and I do not understand why the people participating in this show are willing to go along with the idea - $$$$ or not, where is the dignity and sensitivities. with ideas like this we can return to the pre Civil Rights Days of Separate But Equal - and this time use more 'races" to castigate.

Is it divided (or sorted) by gender, as well?

It sounds like it is trying to be very controversial.
 
I love The Amazing Race and I am watching Survivor right now. Looks like this will be a good season.

I think it's a great idea. Why are people making such a fuss? It's just for fun, right? Wouldn't it be great if we got to the point in this country where being of different races wasn't of any more importance than rooting for different teams?
 
It looks like it's going to be a good season, my favorite tribe so far has been the Latin Americans.
