Some straight men are hostile to lesbians, because they can't have them. They seem to be disturbed by the concept that some women don't need men.

Why shouldn't this guy think gay men are awesome? Maybe he has some really cool gay friends. It does happen, you know. Not all straight men are threatened by or hostile to gay men.
 
I still think that a lot of straight men are comfortable with gay guys. Most are indifferent to them, and only those who turn violent in verbal and physical attacks against us are the ones to get all the negative attention. This might lead to the assumption that the majority of straight guys have problems with gay people, which I think is not true. (at least here in Switzerland telling from my own experience and the public ongoing attitude)
 
Personally, I think a lot of straight guys are jealous because they see gay men as promiscuous, able to hook up sexually, and afterwards there isn't the added complication of having to deal with emotional relationships. For straight guys, they have to spend money on gifts, he needs to wine and dine the girl, make all manner of sweet talk, and commitments before he can get into her panties, when all he wants is a quick shag.

Maybe its prolly why we see so many horny guys getting their dicks sucked by guys. There's no emotional attachment once the act is over, except the nagging guilt perhaps. But its quick relief and he needn't reciprocate, just lie back and enjoy the sensations....

That don't explain the final comment about lesbians though. Maybe they're just a tease to him, because he'll never get it on with them...
 
Many gay men see lesbians as bitches. (Mainly as anti-male, I guess.)

I have many lesbian friends and we've always gotten along great.
