That and 12+ minutes of adverts every half-hour...usually spliced right in the middle of a sentence.

Actually I do watch Dog, Six feet under, Fuckity-fuck-fuck- fuck AKA The Sopranos... Not always but once and a while.

Mostly, I watch my box...er boxed sets. Little Brittan, Ali G stuff, All the Brit mystery series.

You have to admit, the ads over here are OUT OF CONTROL. I will not watch a movie on TV. They edit out scenes to fit in more adverts it's the same stupid tampon and yeast infection bits over and over.

omg...i love little britain...thank god for bbc america. that is one funny fucked up show. i also like bad lads army tho i've found out they cut all the penises out for us americans...still it's raunchy enough. love the occasional prime suspect they put on too...that show's fuckity fuck great...

i'm so used to ads they don't bug me anymore...me and my roomie tend to just change the channel and watch something else during commericals...in fact, we flip around a lot...i actually think mtv is right on with some of their programming...next for example is a half hour made up of two 15 minute dating shows...that about fits my attention span. but like u, if i'm watching a dvd, i can watch the whole thing...otherwise, it's flip, flip...

Just saw a great movie the other night...The Jacket with Adrien Brody and Keira Knightley. A kind of 'indie' feel thriller. VERY original, very edgy.

Not to burst your bubble but...Didn't PBS do several specials the story of Dian Fossey? Granted, Gorillas in the Mist is soft core but where exactly are we to think she got her lovin' from all those years? It sure as heck wasn't Dr. Louis Leakey! She did admit to being a "naturalist" and we all know what that is a euphemism for!!

It's amazing.

I bought what I think was the last Zone/Region 2 dvd copy from Amazon UK last year. It said they had it, I ordered it, and it has been out of stock since the next day. My copy is dvd gold, I suppose!

Truly a godlike film, though - I love the wickedness of the satire, and of course the superb soundtrack. More surprisingly, it got a major theatrical and VHS release down here in .za back in 2001.
