***Before you read forgive the poor grammar and spelling. I was a bit too ticked off as I wrote this.***

Who watched tonite? I'm very upset about how everything went down. POOR DAVIS! He innocently went home since he was too drunks (which is very responsible) and all of a sudden the 900 pound muscle dude Tyrie comes out and demands he get our of the hot tub where Davis was just chillin'. In the end poor Davis (whom I didn't like when I watched the pre-season episode) comes out lookin' like the racist instigator. Davis is much smaller than Tyrie and is way more drunk than him. I'm upset that the cast and crew didn't step in and protect Davis. I have to calm down. Basically, Tyrie is a jerk that needs anger management classes! Davis was DRUNK and I defend him all the way. Yes the N-bomb was uncalled for but he was drunk and people (Tyrie and the producers) pushed him into the defensive, angry, and frantic state that he ended up in. I mean, the poor guy was in tears and no one really seemed to care that Tyrie was the one threatening him the entire time. If I was livin' in that house I'd be afraid to live in a house with 900 pound man with anger issues and would rather have a sweet, responsible, fun, caring (he called his bf and told him he loved him and was just chatting on the phone the moment Tyrie bust into the house and started shouting at him!) person as my roomie. I don't want to turn this into a gay thing, but I bet the if the N-word was replaced with FAGGOT or QUEER or DYKE nobody would give a care. So sad that everyone turned on the young, southern, Christian, white dude.

The way I see it is Tyrie got involved in something he shouldn't have (It was between Stephen and Davis.) He looked stupid then. He overreacted.

BUT

Davis ended up looking stupid by going absolutely insane. The whole episode just kinda scared me.

Plus if you see the preview for the next one Tyrie defends Davis when some guy goes homophobic on him.

They were both drunk , and both out of line. Tyrie had good intentions overall, making sure everyone stayed together for safety reasons. Davis, as cute as he is, went into psycho mode which was uncalled for. He tried to get Tyrie to hit him. It could've been worse. Davis made it bad for himself by using the n-bomb and then just acting like a little baby. But i'll keep my opinions about gay people like him to myself.

hmmm
well I was upset halfway watching that episode
but it all worked out in the end
they were both wrong in that fight, tyrie started wrong and davis ended wrong
they have a lot to learn from each other
I'm glad davis is staying cause he's too cute, has that innocent boynextdoor aura about him.
Oh did you see the preview for next episode?
looks like tyrie is standing up for davis
he certainly redeemed himself in my book.
I like how all the characters are innately flawed, but have redeeming qualities

I'm pissed because this whole thing is Stephen's fault, and nobody seems to have gotten that yet. He was intent on starting trouble with Davis before they even left the club. And then, the first thing he did when they got home was go and tell Tyrie this work of fiction of Davis abandoning him -- instead of finding Davis himself and talking to him FIRST.

I don't trust that mega closeted bitch as far as I can throw him.

And then his sanctimonious "I'm so forgiving" crap made me want to puke. Excuse me? He's forgiving Davis? For what? Reacting to the drama STEPHEN created?

Get the fuck outta here.

I didn't catch that early part of the episode
must see it later
but tyrie seems cooler than I had expected
I guess he got mad because he got the wrong message from stephen
yea I hate that mofo stephen now, too
religious crap...they choke in his throat

All I have to say is the producers of the 'Real World' wouldn't have a show if it weren't for alcohol. It the catalyst in every season. Here's and idea. Lets have a 'Real World' season that's 100% sober! And a "Real World" where they all get jobs and pay rent, just like the real world.

On a completely unrelated note, I miss Denver. I like all the in between shots of the city. If you ever get the chance to live there I recommend it. But invest in a good set of snow tires on a good vehicle.

Now back to topic.

:=D: :=D: :=D:

Did you also catch the exchange that went something like this?

Davis: I would never have left you if I heard someone call you that.
Stephen: I know.

](*,) Then why did you send Tyrie to beat him up?

Ugh! You know?

I'm assuming the way I feel about this Stephanie bitch is the way a LOT of people felt about Tyler last season.

ITA on both. I've been getting the closted vibe from Stephen since the first episode. He seems like a lying bitch. Also, how ironic is it that Stephen wants to work with Davis on his alledged racism, and to help Davis open his mind, when Stephen himself is homophobic.

The whole situation between Tyrie and Davis made them both look like idiots. Tyrie looked like the bad guy at first, but then Davis when absolutely nuts. Maybe he has had problems in the past with bigger guys picking on him or something. After, what, the fifth time that Davis found Tyrie to yell at him, I started to flip the channel back and forth because I was starting to get embarassed for Davis. He was acting like such a baby.

By the end of the episode, I started to really like Tyrie again (I've liked him in all previous episodes). He seems like a nice guy. When Davis did throw that nasty racial slur at him, Tyrie could have retaliated with some really hurtful homosexual slurs, but did not.

How funny is it that that when Tyrie told Davis to hit him, Davis hugged him. lol

Tyrie's anger towards Davis was COMPLETELY uncalled for and I actually felt so horrible for Davis when Tyrie was going off on him and poor Davis didn't even know why.

But first of all...when one of the producers started talking to Davis about calming down Davis was like..."I can't stay here when some BLACK GUY wants to beat me up" or something to that effect...(Which doesn't surprise me because I'd heard him refer to Steven and Tyrie as "black guys" before)

Then he has the nerve to call Tyrie a NIGGER? Oh HELL no. Tyrie's actions are in no way excused here..as he was acting like a complete and utter irrational idiot..

But Davis honestly needs to come to terms with his repressed prejudices, which I sensed long before this episode.

xcuse spelling too tired

So if a black guy gets angry at you, without violence you can call them the n-word because they were Tyrie was obviously offended by The gay dudes actions.

Also The gay dude said he had a problem with The republican being black, i saw this in the preiview before the debut.

I think The gay dude choice of words was extremely wrong, he offened a whole race.

I have a lot of black friends, i feel offended, but they dont really let it bother them

one they dont watch the Real World or they'll just fuck him up if they ever see him or they go tease so white dude.
I have a ghetto past, being that I'm from Africa and all.

you guys are so quick to call people homophobic and exc. but you guys have to realize that this is a RELIGIOUS belief and it been that way since forever. You cant be a devoted Christian and be a homosexual, if you follow the bible, it says it. some just hate to hate, but the Us made homosexuailty such a big deal that every little thing can seem homophobic. For example Diva Aiken vs Kelly Ripa, Rosie thought it was homophobic...

Here in the US we have freedom of religion, not freedom of color

Whether it is a religious belief or not, it still is homophobic.

You cant be a devoted Christian and be a homosexual
Davis is.

Saying "I'm not sure where that hand has been" is a lot different from "You're lifestyle is a sin. You are going to hell. There is no place in the church for you. If my frat brothers found out you were gay they would run you out."

Here in the US we have freedom of religion, not freedom of color
Ok? Do we have freedom of sexuality as well? Why can Stephen spew hate at Davis over something he cannot control, and it's no problem?

I'm not saying that Davis is innocent. What he said (and perhaps what he believes) was horrible as well. But Stephen is right there next to Davis in that department. They are both judging eachother on things neither one of them can control.

Oh, and by the way, "The gay dude's" name is Davis.

Two bigger idiots would be hard to find. It's amusing, though, with all the 'shock' over possible racist and/or homophobic terms being tossed around, that none of the girls/women inhabiting the bar-away-from-home noted that Tyrie punctuated his verbal assault with the 'B' word as an insult to Davis (who was too drunk to notice much of anything, I'd wager). As for Stevie starting the thing, who knows what his intent was...but Tyrie, upon seeing a passive and drunk Davis hanging out in the hottub, could have easily left it till morning. My guess is that the production staff had their 'script' all set by then and egged him on to NOT leave Davis alone until he pushed enough buttons so that Davis would snap, and then the 'fun' would begin, and the producers could reap the rewards.

Mmm, I did enjoy that particular moment last night. lol. Davis is a racist idiot and Tyrie is a hothead but right there in that moment, T]those two boys were HOT and I was turned on! lol.

Tyrie in particular is a yummy piece of all man meat. He seems like a might be an asshole personality wise, but who cares? I wouldn't mind sucking him off.

I bet part of Davis would love to be under Tyrie and his racist attack and then weird drunk hugging moment was a way to access sublimated desire.

Or maybe I just wanna be under Tyrie? ;-)

LOL.

Was I the only one that saw how Davis used his gayness to make Tyrie homophobic? Most straight men wouldn't want a gay man hugging them and touching their faces.

But yet if Tyrie would have called him faggot, he would have been branded for life as a bigot. I guess if you can throw your sexuality around things are permissible until a straight guy responds with something homphobic.

LOL.

Was I the only one that saw how Davis used his gayness to make Tyrie homophobic?
Yeah, it's probably not good to hug a straight man during an argument. Tyrie is a really good guy to not react to it and let it go. I don't think Davis did it intentially to get a homophobic reaction (he gets enough of that from Stephen anyway), but I guess it's possible.
